  1. There was this post a while back: http://line6.com/support/topic/26356-did-you-get-the-variax-survey-email/
  2. Download PF2 from the downloads page. Then run the license manager.
  3. With the exception of the omission of the Dimension Mod based on the Roland Dimension D.
  4. the info will likely be announced at release.
  5. Your POD X3 should have a POD Farm 1.12 license. Use the PF plug-in within your DAW.
  6. Sonically they are the same, however, the signal chain in PF2 is more flexible, and you likely had the plug-in also with the POD Studio.
  7. I would try a slpitter box and send your guitar signal to both the SDRUM and POD HD and send the mixer out(s) of the SDRUM to the POD's Aux cd/mp3 in.
  8. The older red-faced Toneports will only authorize PF 1.12 for free. The exception would be if it was 1st authorized after a certain cutoff date, I do not remember the date, but it is not common. You could try contacting support via phone or ticket to see if there is anything they can do.
  9. Yes, you need to first update via MIDI, FW 1.01 does not support USB for flashing.
  10. You will not know for sure until you try it. There are too many variables with PC's that you may not be able to rely on specs alone.
  11. Are you using a clean channel on the Spider?
  12. If you are using an ASIO interface it would be mostly a function of your DAW and computer. Running Reaper with a non Helix interface on a PC I built in 2010 the latency is barely perceptible and defiantly playable.
  13. Install the latest, the updates are not cumulative.
  14. Sony MDR 7506 can be had for under $100 and has served me well over the years, and you can get replacement parts, though I only ever had to replace the ear padding.
  15. When you use the Helix as your interface, the computer sounds will go through the Helix also. IMHO, you are better off using a good set of headphones to monitor your guitar playing until you can get upgrade you speakers.
  16. It is the one Mr Arkadin mentioned that Line6 recommended in the past. And yes, M-Audio well known reputable brand.
  17. HA!! I just quoted you. That is great advice for any AMP sim plug-in.
  18. What I cannot see from the pic is if the 2 1/4" to the female, is if the female TRS, chances are it is, especially if the L R labels came with the cable. I also cannot see if the adapter or aux chord is TRS, if one of them is not, then that is the issue.
  19. Actually the AMPLIFi holds 100 presets, 25 banks of ABCD, but you need one of the compatible foot controllers or the AMPLIFi Remote app to change banks.
  20. All the model packs that came with the Silver DI are tied to the device, you do not need an i-Lok. POD Farm 1.12 should work with Win 10.\ Sonically PF2 is the same, but you get more flexible signal chain and access to the Plug-In.
  21. Amazon returns are painless. https://www.amazon.com/M-Audio-Midisport-Portable-Interface-connection/dp/B00007JRBM
  22. Did you try a factory reset? Can the Line6 Updater see it?
