  1. Silver is exactly correct as I do this all the time. Look on the editor and click on the end of the chain/path where it says "Multi". Select "Path 2A" right underneath it.
  2. If that's the case DaDraves it probably won't be acknowledged by Line-6 (and some others here) as an issue (kinda like the tuner issues we had a while back). On some future patch, it will simply change/get better/disappear, but if there I guarantee Line-6 knows about it.
  3. I see what you mean Kilrahi, but Phil said it's the same "exact" chips. I don't mean to speak for him but that means to me it's the same "exact" chips speed and specs wise. After reading what he writes here for years I wouldn't think he meant anything else.
  4. I would imagine the guitar input and adjust the amp/settings for hot pickups.
  5. Agreed, they wouldn't be putting chips they can't get any more in a new product.
  6. You do an you will clean it up Mister! ; )
  7. No, I do not. I have a UAD Apollo Quad (with many UAD Plugins) for that and use Helix for what I bought it for, which is a nice guitar "Preamp" / interface. That said, others here use Helix as their audio Interface for their DAW without issue. It just depends on what you want to do. I have a late 2009 iMac that uses Firewire so for my DAW this works very well with my silver Apollo Firewire 800 Interface.
  8. That's why (unfortunately in today's sue-happy world) they have to use names like "New Jimmy" when trying to describe the tone/sounds. I can see why a 20 year old might have issue with some of these names as their timeframes go back 40-50 years, as I'm over 60 and I don't know some of them myself. ; )
  9. I'm at a definite crossroads with headphones & swore I would not use them. Then I ran across some Sony MDR-7506's and they sounded pretty good. What really got my attention was recording a guitar track in Studio One with the headphones on and THEN listening to the track without them on. They sounded pretty freekin close, which really changed my attitude about saying "never" and "Headphones" in the same sentence again. ; ) Never tried any on a Stomp yet (cause I don't have one yet).
  10. Just put some "Tylers" BBQ on it, problem solved!
  11. Don't try... Like Glenn Campbell once said in "True Grit", You've done nothing when you have bested a fool.
  12. We are allowed to have weeds and dandelions all over Texas. ; )
  13. Good rack unit too! And up until recently (last couple of years or so thanks to D.I.), there was no indication or roadmap or anything but "a patch was coming soon".
  14. Not I. And, they've needed to fix the Strat sound/tone since the beginning as far as I'm concerned. Yea I know I can adjust it with Workbench, I just feel like if I can hear and feel it's not right, so should they. BTW- hope you get to feeling better soon Ralph.
  15. Ah HAAAAA yes that the one with the tuner in the editor!!!
  16. It will be awesome for sure. At first. Then it will be "why" didnt they do this, they had XXX amount of time to do this! BLAH BLAH it frose up on me, no sound out of, midi was better, etc etc in a matter of days... sigh... You old poo poo head! ; )
  17. Didn't catch the "sarcasm" or facetious part- please pardon me. : )
  18. I have a "Lagrange" pedal I use in one of the send/return jacks and use it all the time in "front" of the amp. It sounds great!
  19. Updated: I have since then bought a pair of PowerCab +'s and use their cabs now.
  20. You are only in the wrong forum if you can not and will not ever be wrong about anything. Lord knows I've been wrong before every time I thought I was and wasn't. ; )
  21. Can someone point to the fine print that says Line-6 is "Required" once you buy their gear, to give us a status update on what they are doing? Ive been down this same road before, but there is no "contract", agreed negotiation, promise or voodoo doll curse involved in them having to provide anything to US (the user) other than legit time-frames in warranty repairs and the finished product once paid for. That's it folks, and anything else (including updates) is just wishful thinking. sure, they might go under and or sell fewer products by not updating what they sold, but there is no genie in the bottle forcing them to, including a status report just because we might want one. Period.
  22. The bone you are seeking will materialize when it's released. Until then you have the sticky mentioned above, and whats on TGP. What "else" could you possibly want out of this, besides a tuner for the editor? So you don't have great amps and effects and routing functionality now? Really?
  23. And you have all the ammunition right outside yer front door!
  24. I've tried holding their feet to the proverbial fire before on release dates, but they have a BIGGER fire truck than I could have imagined... ; ) Dates do not dictate when it's ready, only people make that mistake. It will be released when it's ready to be, by their determination and not ours. My only concern is that it delivers as promised with all the bells and whistles as stated earlier, but even that is not a given. Oh yea, and as long as it also has a tuner for the editor...
