I'm making a thread so I don't forget how I successfully reinstalled my DT50 Head flash memory. It may help someone else out there in Line 6 land. Here's my instructions: DT50 Head Flash Memory Update; First update MIDI Device (MIDISPORT Uno) Go the website and download and install the most recent driver. Connect the MIDI cable properly and turn on Amp, I leave it instandby with speaker connected. Open the Latest Version of Line 6 Monkey, Click the "Change Device" button, Cilck the "I don't see my device" Button, in the next window select "Connect Using MIDI Cables". In the next window (MIDI Connection Configuration) select MIDI Out and select "MIDI Uno Out" and "MIDI Uno In" then select your specific "Line 6 Device" and when you click "ok" all those windows will close. Now you can initiate the Flash Memory Update. Basicly your setting the MIDI Parameters before the update. I have to do this everytime I want to reflash if I don't I'll get the "incorrect parameters" (Code x80000002) error message.

Have you tried restarting the computer? Sometimes unplugging the usb shutting down the compouter, restarting and then plugging the usb back in works. Another thing, be sure your the administrator if your using windows.

Well I entered the RiffRumble24, just about at the last minute, lol. If you want to check it out here's the link, "Beer Breaker 19". If you like it please give me a good "Shout". If you do "Shout" only do it once, multiple shouts may disqualify. Thanks hope you get a kick out of it. Headphones or a good stereo will always sound better. I run mine on a slower computer with no problems. Maybe try increaing the buffer in the audio settings. I'm running the Toneport UX2 with Win 7 on a Sony laptop containing 4GB Ram and Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 @ 2GHz. My hardrive is almost always @ 12% freespace, which is close to being full. I still use GearBox and PodFarm 1.

Check out the sections in the Inputs button settings and see what options you have. I don't see an option in this part of the manual for a mic. Strange. Page 77 in the manual I have the X3 Pro, it has 2 mic inputs in, my case I have to select tone 2 and Mic 2.
-
Certainly sounds like something you can't fix easily and when that happens to me it calls for (like you said) sending it back.
-
Maybe the SD Card isn't compatable, check the card and if it has a lock on it make sure it's unlocked. I understand there are many different class's of SD Cards nowadays. Please keep in mind these only suggestions.
-
Check out the "inputs/levels" button, press it twice to see all the options. With the first press you can adjust those drums, etc. and with the second press you can adjust the Guitar, Aux, and CD inputs. Format the card with the Spider Jam. Also I think you can only use a max of 2 GB card.
-
I felt this way when I got the X3 Pro & Spider Jam way back in the day, lol, and I'm still learning new things.

Sometimes it's as simple as looking in the right place. Good to hear you found them.

I read somewhere that if the buffer is too large it can cause this click pop thing. Check to see if the ASIO buffer is too large, set it a lower value if it's at the high end and try again. I had this one time and resolved it by uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, might have been a fluke though. Here's a link to page with the line 6 driver dialog If it doesn't take directly to the page go to page 47. This should be the manual for your device. If I'm mistaken you can find the the manual you need here.

Is the computer authorized also? Check License manager again. If your still having problems call Line 6 or open a support ticket.

I heard a while ago the power switch is a weak link in this senario. Might just need to cleaned if it's gotten oxidized or tinged.

Sorry my first post wasn't really that clear. I meant to say, for example, that you could make two identical patches in a dual path patch and use one Mod in say path A and the other in path B in order to combine the two. I'll try to make you an example in Gearbox, upload it to customtone and put a link here for you, so check back later. Here ya go, Check it out>>>>> Dual Path Patch w/ Chorus in Path A and Flanger in Path B w/ A & B Panned center
-
Not in the same chain, but you can if you use a dual patch.

I still have good results with all my Line 6 tuners, They're all I use, besides my ears. I tune 440.

I dug up my old Silver Eagle D-104 microphone, put a new battery in it and wired it up for an XLR. Then I connected it my X3 Pro, cranked it up and it sounded great. Anyone else using vintage microphones with these devices?

I agree, I wasn't sure either. I'm stumped. -

Maybe open up the License Manager and see if it's authorized. Still have trouble call Line 6 and talk to a tech. -
Actually you could just manipulate an aready made dual patch. In order to get dual amps choose the amp and then move it until you get another blank amp block at this point it's a matter of choosing an amp and adjusting levels of the amp and mixer to your liking and of course any effects you use. When using the effects it's important to know which ones are mono and stereo, this info can be found in the manuals section. Should go without saying I only covered a bit of the basics. A link to the part of the manual Page 32 chapter 3-4

Gearbox Gold Bundle Error Message
Brazzy replied to ACESTOKES's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Glad to hear you at least have it working now. There is so much that can go on with different computers and programs. When I first started using this stuff it took me a quite a while to just understand the Computers OS, in my case Windows XP 32 and now Windows 7 32. After that then came understanding the settings within the different programs in order to channel the sound and have control of it, lol. Whenever I had a chance I poked around in the programs and OS changeing settings to see what happens, Hahahaaa. -

Just a suggestion. Try unplugging the usb, restarting your computer, wait for it to finish starting and then plug in the usb. You should make sure your running gearbox as administrator and any other line 6 programs as well, although if your the administrator already and not a guest on your computer you won't need to....I think...lol. -
Sounds like digital clipping to me. Try lowering the output levels of the pod and use the cleanest channel on the amp and manipulate the sound with the pod. Another way to look at it is you have a unique sound there.
