i was looking at a book yesterday with pictures of all the things hendrix used and noticed that most of the marshalls he used during his brief moment of fame were superlead heads.. I dont think i recall line 6 ever modelling one of these or is it essentially the same as another later model? strange that such an iconic amp would get no modelling treatment..

it would be good to have official word on whether there has been changes made there.. i haven't updated yet, as i'vd had no problems since the update with archon/litigator amps included.. but i probably would if there really have been some sound enhancements made to the amp/cabs

try the free mesa boogie pack from ownhammer to give you a taste.. also someone here made some very nice friedman 2x12" cab impulses but someone else may have to direct you to where they are found

the clean channel is great- a big clean sound.. and takes drive pedals really nicely.. even try stacking a couple

i tried a stereo spread with that amp.. 2 cabs: one with a 12ms delay or similar to widen it (i used a delay pedal with 12ms full wet from memory) It sounded pretty nice

also if he is worrying then he may well be using a system that isn't powered enough for the task..

i like to run helix vol knob at 12.00 at least, so try that and set the knobs on the monitor to taste. Behringer aren't renowned for great sound tho. so dont expect miracles. counter intuitively- cutting the lows and high's in helix (maybe on the cab section) may help you get a bigger better sound

i guess i had it 8 months and am getting better sounds all the time, but i liked it from the start.. your monitors are probably lacking if you are feeling the sound is not big enough

you can use different mics even when you load a combo amp/cab .. just got to scroll the pages Try the depth control on that Archon amp too ;)

i've never used more than 4 snapshots per preset but 8 are available- each being able to handle 64 parameter changes or something like that.. any way there are youtube videos to give you more details/ideas .. have fun :)

it is like being to have up to 8 variations within a preset.. adjust any parameters of the preset and save it as a snapshot.. probably best to just have 4 showing- then you can have a preset and snapshot view at once. I have preset bank showing on the top windows and snapshots on the bottom. You can set all that in settings- display menu i think

it may be the physical connection also.
