Caroline Guitar Company Kilobyte Approximation Patch Included

cool. a quick rundown on how to would be great, if you can be bothered -
i very much agree, from memory amplitube had this sort of thing .. i really prefer the sound when it is closer to the cone edge and then you can dial in a bit of hi as needed. It's something i read once in a mixing book.. the author said this method captures a bit of the feeling of the air moving at the speaker, whearas right in front of the cap the highs are too predominant and can be too harsh to boost. I've tried it and the high frequencies you get when boosting at the cone edge are more sweet. You can only do it on helix as it stands now, with certain IR's.

very pretty -
no expression pedals here.. and it has only happened twice in a year, but on 2 different firmwares i think. i'm not too worried about it if it is only at this average
-
everything except the on/off switch that is.. which after flicking it,fixed the problem
-
i've had it happen twice now.. once, the other day, on my current 2.10 firmware and once previously (not sure what firmware i was on at that time) I'm wondering has this happened much to any others?.. i do remember reading about it a while ago.. FYI- the helix was making sound but everything (knobs dials etc) was totally unresponsive.

i found my variax sounded better as is.. i tried the 3sigma martin ones and a few freebies.. they sounded ok on my piezo equipped acoustic tho
-
you might be getting the input from 2 different drivers or there is some sort of glitch from the device driver.?
-
my IR's slots filled up pretty quickly here
-
jimi used to get some with a fuzz and feedback 😄
-
at least it's not Andy Summers again.. :p
-
i mentioned here there or somewhere else that my old iphone 4s used to run an app that tracked guitar chords amazingly well and converted it to midi..not sure it is the same sort of processing tho

Gain structure for JCM800 seems way off to me...

i guess the question is then, is it possible to clean up the signal as in the original, or is there too much gain on tap? -

no,if i'm not mistaken, i think the '2204 mod' is the line 6 original? is that right? -
he has his sound sorted and people to carry his gear, can't imagine he'd be too worried 😄
-
wow, i wonder if steve vai tried it out yet ☺
-
do you know does it clean up the ever occuring noise when you're using a strat with a bit of gain when using the pickup selector on the bridge the middle and the neck positions?
-
wasn't it like a metal zone but with the contour sort of part missing?
-
try a snapshot for each? change the low cut.?

my phone does stuff if it is too close too.

i agree that the slopes seem pretty low and too find i get into muddy territory easily trying to balance out the tone- selectable slope would be nice

i dont think it's too much to expect better tracking.. heck there's an app that is 3+ years old, on my phone (midiguitar) that does polyphonic tracking from guitar input really quite well with not a heap of cpu hit. (it runs well on iphone 4s while directing midi output to other synth apps even)
