Completely agree with kirahi. Hx effects could be what you need, and you will have all the effects of pod hd-m series plus the updated and nrw hx series, for the total of 300 effects.

Also the fender champ has increased ripple by its own, need to nullify it to make it sound normal.

Can't blame you but I feel you on this. 12 registered products. My flextone 3 took 1 year to get repaired, since it cam broken. My pod Xt had malfuctioning pedal. The piezos of my Variax 700 died soon... My variax 300 changes models by it's own. My JTV had the shaft and string problem. And my first helix came with the scrible strip burnt pixels, while my second has a dead selector on roling. Can't say, the support is another level than anyone arround, but the quality check is bellow everything else. If I will buy another product? Yes I will, but I am prety sure it will be half broken out of the box.

Indeed, to my ears also i listen 2 bass guitars with just different sized strings. Nothing guitar like to the not so hairy sound. But to each his own.

Totally agree. Even power amps separated would give as some crazy combinations.

Preamp is mostly used in 4 cable method with real amp. Otherwise just run a preamp as a pedal, before your main modeled amp.

Actually both on and off topic, installed the bias 2. Straight comparison with only one amp and cab, the bias wins hands down. After a bit of tweaking, low cut, high cut, compressors etc, helix reached it. After more tweaking bias stayed a lot behind. Point. Helix has potential but need to now how and what to tweak to make it sound good. Bias has a good so7nd from the beginning. But this is it. A good amp, aka a good sound, but remains good. No chances for improvement.

How you make the irs? I use voxengondeconvolver wit ozone 8, the result is great on bias, but when i use the ir on helix it is dead mute. Need to add 60 db and then it sounds only a fizz.
