Trying to follow. You said NON-SNAPSHOT parameters? I believe pressing a snapshot only changes the snapshot enabled parameters, seems normal. For example, if i create a patch with multiple snaps, then i change Amp channel volume, (non snap), it will stay regardless of snap selection. Its a good thing. If i want to revert i need to reselect the preset. if i remember, snapshots only change the enabled parameters, up to 64. It does not recall entire state of preset.

i dont think those have phantom power. I don't know of to many (any) studio monitors that have phantom. reading the specs on the LSR's, select +4 on the sensitivity, Helix on Line level. the Helix output is fairly high.

Agreed!!!

Yes. I did it with recall method. I put a guitar cord in exp2. Then used some alumfoil on the other end to short it for s moment. Do all snaps then save once. Foil/shorting method prevents plugging/unplugging risks

I had an issue too. When i reloaded the IRs they for some reason loaded in a scrabbled order. It seams you need to select all the ones you use then select and hold the first on on the selected list and drag them to the first slot you need. I had a list selected then grabbed the list from somewhere in the middle, made a mess of things. Worth a look. Edit: i refer to list as they sit in the folder on my desktop. I renamed my irs starting with 01 02.... like previous posts make sure irs are where they should be. If only there was an IR backup "setlist" style.

I got it figured out. The editor is placing /test.txt/ in the directory/filename string. When i select the location to save the file, it does not change with it. I am running windows 10. upload pic

I keep getting an "error code -400" when trying to export a Bundle. I can do setlist backups, and also drag my presets Add to individually into folders. I tried uninstall/reinstall of software. Helix on 2.01 and editor on 2.01. I like to have a bundle in addition to setlists and folders. It makes for a simple full preset reinstall in case of a needed on the fly reset. Anyone run into this?
-
I currently recerted back to 2.01 so i cant test. Can it be tried to delete the volume block, save, then put it back and resave. I wonder if that would cover all snaps
-
already back on 2.01. I guess i can try another update. Maybe something else went wrong.

Solution did not work for me. Did all saving to a T. When rebooting unit, it reverts back to problem. Plus i am not going through 20 presets with 4 snaps to fix this.
-
Fix doesnt work. It reverts back when changing presets. Reverts back when restarting. Im going back to 2.01

"- If a user fails to read and follow the update instructions, Helix will cause their car radio to only play polka death metal every Thursday from 1-3pm PST" HA!

Stevia or Splenda? The 2 best sugar sims out there. Haven't ran into a good cream sim yet.

Internet must be slow today, it hasn't reached Kentucky yet.

I just did it on mine. It actually is called update mode. It allows the updater to see Helix but not the editor. So if you do not have your stuff already backed up, you may be out of luck. It will allow you to see if it finds the Helix in the editor software, at least that might of tell you if its a firmware issue in the Helix. Booting into update mode does not in itself delete anything on the Helix. Actually you can reflash the helix and it "should not" delete anything either. its the 9 - 10 reboot as recommended / required that does the clearing of presets and IRs. Maybe you can reflash, then go in and backup, then do a reset. Please get more advise from others. I really dont want to be responsible if you lose some important stuff.

Boot Helix in Safe Mode? Hold 6 & 12 while turning on Helix. Shouldnt erase any presets.

.....and try different USB cable.
-
Comb filtering somewhere? turn off/on blocks one at a time to see if one is the issue. Interesting.....
-
Computer connected via usb? Try different outlet. Try different circuit. Sometimes multiple bedrooms are on the same circuit. Try outlet in the kitchen, 99% it's on it's own. I'm in the US. Outside US I can't say.

for my peace of mind and consistency I use an Art DTI from my 1/4 outs. It converts the unbalanced to TRS or XLR and isolates phantom power and ground loops. $60 insurance

I saw Scott from The Helix Channel show how to quickly copy snaps. https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=GQychLucsek At 1:11

Last Weekend's Experience Contradicts Things I've Been Reading Here

I agree with silverhead. I find using my ts110a's at "gig" volume in my house sounds huge. Hooking up to our pa i find the thin brittle sound. I think the headphone are the way to go. The sound person can alway low cut you as needed. -
Aside from the issue line 6 not building in protection from Phantom power, whether cost or other, get youself a $60 ART DTI (or just about any DI). It not only isolates you from ground loops, it blocks phantom power. I personally like DTI box because it does not alter signal levels.

Make only the first delay 100% wet. Leave the second "1/4 delay" normal
