  1. Ah yes, loopers can be exceptionally honest when it comes to timing! :)
  2. The Function foot switch on FBV3 will control the looper in Spider V 240. Press once to begin recording your loop, press again to stop recording and play the loop. Pressing again while the loop is recording will allow you to overdub. Pressing twice will stop the loop. Pressing twice and holding the foot switch for a few seconds will clear the loop.
  3. Are you using an floorboard controller or hitting the loop button on Spider V manually?
  4. You'll want to search for an OTG to USB 2.0 adapter Like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005GI2VMG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=escathemach-20&linkId=3474bd7752986b6ffa7d65250e496fa4
  5. Since bluetooth operates on the same 2.4GHz band as the Relay G10t there is a possibility of interference, but I think you should be able to use both at the same time without problem. I would first get the headphones synced and then sync the G10t with Spider V. Whenever you sync G10t with Spider V, by plugging it into the input, it will search for the best available open channel and avoid any that have interference.
  6. The LT is a durable piece of gear. The footswitches are also very sturdy. If there is no outside damage I would bet that your LT is fine.
  7. By redistribute do you mean reorganize presets in Firehawk? To save and manage presets use the free Firehawk app that connects via bluetooth to Firehawk.

    vocals

I don't believe there are any presets in Helix specifically for vocals. I would start with the "Studio Tube Pre" preamp and then add any desired effects after. There's been some good effect suggestions from other users on this post.
  9. I will tweak levels with a meter or hooked up to a DAW. brue58ski pointed out some good things to be aware of with frequencies when leveling.
  10. To get closer to the sound you want I'd try the "Crunch" amp model, higher gain, take out some of the mids. Or the "Metal" amp model more mid gain, but still with mids reduced and bass and treble pushed a little.

Here are the specs for the DC-3g power supply for the PODHD500X DC-3g: (POD HD 300/400/500/500X and HD Bean): 9V DC, 3A (3000mA) Plug length: 15mm, Diameter: 5mm, Center Pin: 2mm.

  13. I set my g10 on stage next to my Helix or just behind it. My stage scene and audience are usually relatively tame so I've never had any problems with damage or a connection coming loose. Though I could see an act that is very lively on stage and/or has raucous audience you may want to move your g10 somewhere else.
  14. You can use the FBV Express II with Spider Jam to control looping. Spider Jam has to be manually switched to "Jam Control Mode" to use FBV Express II to control looping/drums.
  15. The headphone jack on the Spider Classic 15 is a 1/4 inch, so you will need an 1/8" (3.5mm) to 1/4" adaptor.

    Mama Mia

I gave it a quick listen, Mamma Mia sounds like it could be done if you set it to key of D major, interval of a 3rd. When Will You Be Loved sounded a bit more complicated, at one point it sounds like it is diatonically harmonized in thirds, and then switches to octaves, and possibly back to the thirds.
  17. Make sure you save any presets you want to keep to your tones as you will have to overwrite presets to move them around. Click the "share" icon and then choose to store the tone on your device, you can then choose where you want to store the tone.
  18. Amplifi is unable to send a dry signal out while also providing an amp sound for monitoring. If you have Amplifi set to send clean unaffected signal to your DAW then that is what you will hear, unless you add any post processing/modeling in your DAW.
  19. Additionally, you can generate a link to your tone by posting to Facebook or Twitter. This link can copied/pasted/shared for direct access to the tone.
  20. Is there a transformer/adapter that is converting 220 to 110? If not and you are sending 220, you risk damaging the M9.
  21. It looks like this cable is out of stock in the Line 6 web store. If you google "right angle TA4 cable" you should be able to find what you need.
  22. You'll need to use the second signal path to get the 2 amps and effect you want happening at all once. Clicking on the output block (circle at the end of the path) will give you the option to connect to the 2nd signal path. There's a few ways this can be done. I made a quick mock up, I have a PV Panama on path 1a and 2a, and a Valve Driver on 1a. I put a gain block as a place holder on path 1b and routed that to path 2a. This way the Valve driver is hitting both amps. This should free up plenty of DSP, I was able to add in quite a bit more.
  23. To clarify, are you trying to install the editor on your computer or update the device's hardware? Currently the firmware is at 2.3 and there is a new HX Edit application for preset editing and management.
