  1. The Monkey can see it and you have green ticks for everything? When did you first purchase this?
  2. Make sure the song is actually on your device. There is an option in the app settings to only show songs on your device, otherwise it will show everything from your i-Tunes library even if it's not on your device.
  3. +1 to phil My understanding is the algorithms are the same as the xt/X3/POD Farm series. But there are configs you can achieve in the AMPLIFi that you can not do in the xt/X3 series. That being said, I can honestly say the FX100 seems to render the algos a bit differently, many of the amp models seem to be a bit more reactive to me than my PODxt and POD Farm. For all I known this could be purely psychological , but when I'm jamming it feels like there's more something there. That something could be my imagination, but it's fun for me and gets my creative mojo flowing.
  4. Assuming your amp/receive decodes Dolby Digital, just try it and see. Most receivers that decode discrete surround should display the incoming format.
  5. If you run the newest Monkey, do you have green ticks for everything? Are you running a DAW when this happens?
  6. I doubt it. I suspect it's more of a price point and target demographic thing. The FX100 is still 1st gen AMPLIFi, just in pedal form with no power amp and cab.
  7. I'm pretty you the UX's S/PDIF will only have stereo info. Are you running more than 2 speakers?
  8. I think it would be nice to assign the Volume pedal to the Tweak. I will probably post it on IdeaScale if someone doesn't beat me to it.
  9. I sure do hope recording is one of the future uses!! As well as flashing the fw, those BT updates are brutal!!
  10. That happened to me once after pairing the FX100 to a Kindle. I didn't know at first that closing the app wasn't necessarily quitting the app. I had to double click home and discard the running app.
  11. +1 to Silverhead It's pretty much the same sound engine as POD Farm/X3. Currently the FX100 does not have all the models/effects from the X3. Cool thing with the AMPLIFi is you can have more than one of the same type of stomp/effect in your chain.
  12. I think for the majority, this is optimal. At least that is how I see the AMPLIFi currently positoned. If you are streaming a song via BT and jammin' thru a real amp, you would want it that way.
  13. How many batteries does that thing take!!?? Nearfield studio monitors will probably get you as close to headphones as you can get, but they have a small optimal listen location. A PA would be ok too. Also, if you are connecting to an amp, try the different "What are you connect to" options, otherwise woth a PA or monitors, use studio direct.
  14. Have you tried turning off any anti-virus programs and firewalls while installing? Just for clarification, you are using the newest version of the Monkey?
  15. Line6 recommends hi-impedance headphones. I use a set of Sony MDR-7506 with an impedance of only 63 ohms and it seems just fine to me. I do not have an X3, but the phones out on the POD HD and PODxt definitely seem to have more oomph than my UX2. I would imagine the X3 is the same as the xt. This seems to make sense as the UX's are running on USB power whereas the HD,X3, and xt have their own power supply.
  16. Did you try forgetting the device then rediscovering it?
  17. I wonder if you can get past the log-in screen without internet access? I'm pretty sure you can, I will double check this evening.

is this what you're looking for? http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=1206
  19. No, you don't need to use XLR. You can use XLR, 1/4 balance, or 1/4" unbalanced.
  20. Reverb is typically last for me too. Sometimes I will put delay after reverb for some wacky effects, like an over the top reverb that I want to hear the delay of.
  21. Try Gearbox. It replaces ine6 Edit for the xt and X3 series.
  22. They definitely serve a slightly different need with some over lap. I will probably get an AMPLIFi 150 eventually, would be cool to bring outside for grilling out and parties.
  23. It's basically an AMPLIFi with out the amp and speakers in floorboard version with a pedal that can toggle between Wah and Vol. You can use it with your amp and cab, there is an amp out, you have to tweak your amp's settings. Any music streamed via Bluetooth does not get routed to the amp out, so you can route the music thru the main outs to a PA, monitors, stereo, ect... and have only the amp receive the guitar signal. I run it straight to studio monitors. As for the algorithms for the modeling, there are exactly the same. And there are 100 presets. I wonder where they came up with the FX100 name??
