    IF you purchased any model packs, they will be tied to your account and all you have to do is run the License Manager. which is bundled with the newest Monkey.

    Might be dirty pots. With the power off gently turn the knobs back and forth several times. Then park them all at zero and see if the problem is still there. If you do reflash it, back up your patches if they are important to you.

    Is this a new Pod Studio (black faced) or a Toneport (red faced)? If it is a Toneport you likely are only eligible for Pod Farm 1.12

    Possibly an incorrect power issue. Can you confirm you are using the colorectal power supply with the correct house voltage?

    Yep, a JTV or just re-tune your current guitar. Or get a 2nd economy guitar and tune it to drop C.

    I personally wouldn't worry too much about your old tones, the HD is an entirely different beast. I think you'd be better off building new tones instead of trying to "convert" the X3 tones.

    Darn it, I was gonna guess tonite on my monitors Only heard on my pc speakers at work, and that was my guess, but more based on the effects in Inside Your Life just.

    +1 to bigchas and zap If you do by a separate license do NOT get the iLok version, it will work only as a plug-in and requires an iLok.

    Nice tones! I've been tinkering with the app and tempted to swing by GC and demo the 150W, but afraid I will walk out with one!!

    phil, Are you using 2 separate delays for Pretty Bad?

    Does your amp have an effects loop? If so you might want to look into the 4 cable method.

    Download the newest version of Monkey (currently 1.65) and try again. http://line6.com/software/

    What type of clean are you going for. For some of my clean tones I do not even use an amp sim, just the Tube Comp into Dimension SW1 or SW2 on and just a lil reverb, usually cave. Stereo delay on or off depending if I want to widen the stereo field a bit quickly.

    I would try a different USB cable and ports. And if you are able, a different computer. Also, make sure you are using the newest version of Monkey. You can download it here. http://line6.com/software/

    Aux and Variax not options on the Bean, that's why Bean owners are stuck with mic

    I have EMG 707's on my Loomis JL-7 FR and usually need to set the 2nd tone to mic otherwise I get a little clipping if I really dig in. If you set the 2nd tone to mic try turning the trim down, although it shouldn't matter if nothings plugged in it. But yeah, battery would be the first thing I'd check.

    If you run Monkey does it see the GX and have green ticks?

    Gearbox is absolutely available and is the GUI for the xt and X3 series. http://line6.com/software/ You can also navigate to this link by clicking support at the top of the page. You will need to run the Monkey to update you drivers. ***Caution*** If you purchased the PODxt 2nd hand with extra model packs installed, you will lose them if the previous owner did not gift them to you.

    I do not use Reason, but the page states "All amp and cab models present in your Line 6 device or software will automatically appear in Reason". I don't think it loads any presets.
