Hopefully... I wish about 2 weeks after the end of march would get here already!!

You can delete any of your "My Tones". Call up a "My Tones" tone Click the > to edit Click the upload to cloud icon Click the trashcan The AMPLIFi has 100 preset slots on the actually hardware, 25 banks of A B C D When you save to hardware you are physically storing the tone to one of the presets.

The algorithms are the same. If there is any difference in sound, as duncann mentions, you'd be hard pressed to notice it. And the difference would have nothing to do with the extra DSP, but possibly different A/D convertors. I have no idea if they're different, but it's possible.

Try reinstalling the app, forgetting the connection, then re-pairing.

What's with users wanting to roll back to an earlier FW? I'm currently running 3.01, am I missing something? Wait, that's my PODxt, never mind. Carry On!!

Have you tried putting it into Update Mode? Likely not the issue, just throwing it out there just in case.
-
I agree, I wouldn't want to leave it on either. Also, it will draw power if it is on regardless if you are not play/streaming.

Try reinstalling the app, forgetting the connection, and pairing again. Also, if you are using an Android device, it may be that your FX100 has older firmware. They didn't add Android compatibility until FW 2.0, currently the FW is 2.1. There is a USB Utility you can use to flash via a PC or you can use an iOS7 or 8 device.

Trouble Recording Guitar And Vocals Through Ux2
Triryche replied to steevilweevil's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
In POD Farm standalone (not plug-in) are you configuring the sends properly in the Mixer View? In the Instrument View are you selecting the appropriate input sources from the drop-downs for paths A and B? In Ableton are you using Line6 ASIO as your device? In Ableton are you enable all 4 available inputs for the UX?- 5 replies

Were you able to update via USB prior to this?

Android or iOS? Either way, you have to find the actually file on your device. It is not in the AMPLIFi Remote App's Player, the Player plays files from your device. If it's Android, there's a good chance the "loop" is a sound byte for another app.

brand new JTV-89's -> issues
Triryche replied to alan2803's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Is that what Monkey sees too? You can try to flash it with Monkey, but if Monkey sees it as a JTV 69 you should contact support. -
Yep, 3 if you want.

It doesn't help you much now, but you could submit a support ticket. If it is a bug with the Utility, the details will help Line6 fix the issue. Any luck with the store you purchased it from? Surely someone there has an iOS7 or 8 device.

If you are talking about running the output of the POD HD500 into the AUX in of the AMPLIFi, it does not matter if you have amps or no amp models in the AMPLIFi, that signal is not affected by the AMPLIFi models, same with music streamed via Bluetooth. With the 2 X 1/4" TS to 1/8" TRS cable I linked, it will be stereo if your effects on the HD are stereo.

You mean from your device or a tone match in the cloud. Yes you can delete a song from your device, no you cannot delete a tone match from the cloud.
-
There are 3 blocks that can be a Drive/Dynamic, Mod, Delay, or Filter/Synth/Pitch effect. Click on one of those types, then click the name, then click type.
-
In the AMPLIFi Remote App click AMP>>Type>>Clean>>No Amp By default when selecting no amp there will be no cab. Are you trying to use the AMPLIFi to monitor the 500? If so, use the AMPLIFi's AUX in, it will bypass all the modeling, so no need to disable. You can use a cable like this: http://www.amazon.com/Hosa-CMP153-Cable-Inch-Dual/dp/B000068O3C Currently there is no PC Editor.

You may be coming in too hot, check the level (not master). What do your waveforms look like?
