    That's it???

The topic header to me (and most everyone else I'm thinking)appears to be saying Line 6 didn't do their job. How many ways are you going to try and crawfish outta that?

    That's it???

But that's not the topic header is it?

    That's it???

What you are trying to say is that Line 6 didn't do their job. Most of us disagree with you.

    That's it???

Simple, 1. Because Im not an elitist jerk who thinks that after I buy something all software from then on out should be available right now, with every update in it I might want from now on in every patch, once a week. Psssst, "There was no intent to grant anyone anything just because it may have cost you more than you would have liked to pay for it." 2. Because what I bought at the time I bought it was complete, and that anything extra (updates) I get in the future I appreciate greatly because it's not owed to me or promised, but given freely. And without them, I wouldn't have it. 3. And lastly, my initial response is dead to rights correct. Ya know if the patch actually "broke" all of our units where they would not boot up, I could see the griping. They didn't do that. In fact, they added what a lot of us wanted. What's sad is you using this misdirection to prove a point that somehow I'm wrong about all this only because it doesn't agree with your reasoning in that "just because somehow the hard earned money you spent on Helix is worth more than mine is, or anyone else's? So, therefore, they owe you? Really? lol....
  5. I too remember the organ patch you did, a good two years or so back. So to the OP, you need to man up and apologize to Glenn, even if He's not asking for one. And FWIW, you really shouda took this private at first anyway.
  6. I was the 1st to say I wanted a tuner in the editor!!!

    That's it???

That said^^^^ I hope for many more updates and look forward to bitchin about no tuner in the editor... ; )

    That's it???

OK, even I'm not that anal... Well maybe, and Im not thin skinned either. The BS is from what I can tell coming from your side. Why? Because Helix was what it was when you purchased it. PERIOD. You don't like it, move along then. Anything else that's added later is only icing on the cake, and NO, there is no "contract" or promise or guarantee that Line-6 owes us anything else but warranty work during that period of time it's actually under that timeframe. They dont owe us a thing but what we purchased. Whats pathetic to me is thinking they still somehow do. My thinking is that Line-6 does not have to (legally or otherwise) add another single Amp or Cab if they choose not to. So count your blessings on the fact that they did address the overly nervous and jumpy tuner issue because in retrospect they didn't even have to do that.
  9. Valium coding makes for less jitter too B )
  10. Yep $69 bucks is what I paid IIRC...
  11. For Me, no. I do not use/have a single 3rd party IR installed in Helix. Why?? After watching Jason Sadites youtube videos and learning from him on how to make Helix patches work for me and sound great too (not hard at all BTW, just a better approach IMHO) I'm just needing what Line-6 provided now. Seriously I don't need them now, and I have many. Now I can and do use a few in my Kemper for "merged" profiles where the Amp is separated from the cab IR. (non-merged Amp & Cab & Mic together is also called a profile BTW). But no I do not need IR's for Helix, simply because what Line-6 has in there is plenty if used right. As always YMMV. ; )
  12. Graig says while he is still rubbing the Sharpie marks off his head... ; )
  13. Yea the "strobe" blocks should narrow down as you get closer to being in tune. I'd rather have that then the arrows. But at least it's better than what we had by a M I L E.
  14. Cru that adds a new meaning to the phrase "ya gotta Urn it"...
  15. I kinda like the corse setting tuner, matches the one on the controller the best too. But best of all I like the options!!!!!!!!
  16. The US free backpacks are for picking up the relatives belongings after they pass because they couldn't afford the extremely expensive healthcare costs.
  17. Yep, piracy is here to stay... In any case, I was set straight on suggesting (rather being ornery & factitious) that a Helix-2 was coming this holiday season, by D.I. , so if anyone would know, I'm thinking it would be him. Agreed.
  18. I have suggested the same macello, but DI has stated on this forum recently that "Helix 2" currently not on their agenda.
  19. And..., there is also the gorilla type that plays guitar and I've known a few. For example- I have broken about 10 strings in my 45+ years of playing multiple guitars at multiple events/stages. That doesn't make me perfect, it just means I keep the strings clean and don't hit them hard as it's my style of playing. I also know and have played with guys that break a string on every gig. No kidding, they are ruff on everything they touch. That's not to say "this issue" was the user's fault at all, but it is what it is and some can be very rough on equipment. If that equipment already has an issue as well as this did (and then add to the gorilla grippers to it), that adds to the problem/breakage in a hurry.
  20. Ya know I think your right... A new "strobe" tuner would be an excellent choice I think. I luv the one in my KPA!
  21. Just plug the output of the "Stomp" (mono) into the FH-1500's FX Return. That's what I do with Helix (via a mixer with a sub out). Sound great too!
