  1. Sometimes noise is picked up through the power supply or other things like nearby lights, fans, TV's, the lap tops monitor, cell phones, etc. Try unplugging the laptops power supply and see if there's an improvement.
  2. I hope it works out for you. If you can, keep us posted man.
  3. What BillBee said. I'm still using my X3 Pro, just used it today. I have 2 PC's, 1 with Win 7 and one with Win 10. Both work fine for me. I don't use Gearbox much since I use the X3's interface to tune things in and record with RiffWorks.
  4. I've run one of those MODKITS DIY pedal in between the guitar and the guitar input on my Spider Jam and it sounded pretty good. Use a clean setting/amp model. You can also try the Aux input. The CD/mp3 input works good too. They can all work you just have to try them to see what's best for you.
  5. That was a perfect response "C". LOL. I'll be laughing for whole now. Brazzy on standby. 😀
  6. I wonder what would've happened if OJ put those gloves on lol.
  7. Oh SNAP......Shut theeeeeee Front Door! lol
  8. This might not be a big help I can only tell you how I do it since there is more than one way to do it. I just keep it simple and run the KB 37 anolog outs into the fx return of the pod and mix it that way, then to the amp or pa from the pod X3 or HD500 analog outs. Lately I've been using my old X3 Pro the same way. I'll monitor with phones for the setup and record into RiffWorks sending the analog outs or XLR's to amplification. I'll stick a drum machine or Beat Buddy in between the KB 37 and HD500 fx returns. Works great for playing around the house with friends. It gets real loud too, lol. In the end all sound from pa comes from the HD500 or X3 Pro and I record using the HD 500 or the X3 Pro. The KB 37 is just run into the FX Returns of the fore mentioned.
  9. Your Welcome, enjoy the kiddo.
  10. Congrats! Very Cute. Now I know why your sig says your so happy. :)
  11. Sounds interesting, please let us know what you think after you've spent time with that setup you spoke of. Good Luck and have fun.
  12. A little sarcasm, lol. Since I don't gig it almost grows roots :) On the more positive side the DT delivers for me. I used it today with my X3 Pro and KB37. I'm really impressed that my X3 Pro is still going strong. I'm getting my monies worth with that one. 😀

    Good Lord, LOL
  14. Sounds great, I think your going to really like it. Regarding the weight. If one uses their head even the slightest bit they don't have to hurt themselves moving an amp or anything heavy. I use a tiny hand truck to move mine around and lift it very little. I don't need to move mine (DT50HD) around that much, it's seen more travel going back to Line 6 for warranty work, lol. In my early years I would move a 1 ton machine with a "joe bar", other various machines, a tool box weighing 2.5 tons, all kinds of material stock such as 20 ft lengths of steel of many various shapes, brass blocks, aluminum blocks, large blocks of steel and cast iron, and various machine tools each weighing 100 lbs each onto a trailer whenever I needed to go somewhere else for employment, which seemed to happen every 1-2 years. Glad that's over now, lol.
  15. Nice Thread pfsmith0. Your threads are always interesting.
  16. "Roger That", Almost looks like a small bolt of lightening went across the board.
  17. That's insane. Maybe something cooked. You might be looking at buying a new one. Have you tried to contact Line 6. It's a long shot but you should ask Line 6 if there is some way of diagnosing it.
  18. There's really only one way to find out and that's to take the plunge. Just like swimming, don't dip your feet just jump. So many different experiences out there and each one is special, lol.
  19. I recently got one of these > CNB PDC-410D BK Locking Aluminum Pedal Case for some pedals I've got but when I looked at it I noticed the HD500 would fit in it, lol.
  20. Darn good idea! Simplification at it's best. You could post this in the idea scale forum if you didn't.

    FRFR ?

You're not much of a dinosaur with that list, :) All good ones IMO.

    FRFR ?

I'm no music expert (no formal training), but this made sense to me.
