Yes. First tap a footswitch to select a different patch without saving changes to the current patch. Then select the previous patch again. It is now loaded from the device memory in its last-saved state, overwriting the recently unsaved changes.

at2035 not working with UX2

Make sure you turn on the phantom power. Your mic requires this. -
Looking for a 4 Channel mixer and speakers for HD500?
silverhead replied to christufts's topic in POD HD
+1 to previous post. I think you'll be better off with a less costly mixer and put your $$ into powered monitors, between 5" and 8" depending on budget. Note: you did say studio monitors, right? If you want to move your setup frequently to different venues then we would have different recommendations for you. -

silverhead replied to christufts's topic in POD HD
That's right, for the mixer. Like I said, value for dollar. Of course if you want to spend more there's the Line 6 M20d, or many other intermediately priced mixers. 😉 For the purpose you describe I think the monitors are more important than the mixer. That's where I'd spend more $$. -

Value for dollar I think Behringer mixer products are quite good. Here's a candidate: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/502.aspx For studio monitors I think speaker size is the most important factor. Don't go below 5", and get the biggest you can afford. This market is highly competitive and you have lots of good choices. Lots of people here recommend Rockit monitors. If possible, take your MP3 player and some of your favorite songs and go to an audio store to listen to and compare some options. If these options are over budget for you I think you'd be better off getting similar used products than buying inferior products brand new for a similar price. -
need help with de-authorizing my UX1 pod studio
silverhead replied to isfann's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
I think you need to de register it rather than deauthorize it. To remove the registration, click the Suppprt tab at the top of this page. At the bottom of the support page there is a link called Registration Help. In there is information on how to register your gear. In the Register Gear page select the Remove button beside your UX1. -
I would use the Aux (rather than mic) input for the second guitar.

Inevitably, someday the modeling will fail. Guaranteed. It's a computer. Then you'll still have the mag pickups, which also will fail someday - guaranteed - like any electric guitar pickups. Will one or both devices fail within your lifetime? The modeling will probably fail before the mag pickups, but it will likely be many years if not decades in the future. But, of course, they could both fail tomorrow. Highly unlikely, but possible. The brakes on your car will fail too, probably before the JTV modelling. I'd be more concerned about that.

Patches cannot be deleted. You overwrite unwanted patches with a preferred patch.

Guitar and microphone studio ux1 don't work
silverhead replied to Allison1113's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
I think you select that in the Mixer page. -
someone provide me with an honest opinion of amplifi
silverhead replied to sunshinewelly's topic in AMPLIFi
No integration similar to the Pod HD and DT amp series. From what I have read Firehawk will integrate nicely with Variax guitars because they both have the VDI connection. But neither AMPLIFi nor Firehawk has an L6 LINK connection (which the Pod HD and DT amps use) and hence no means of communicating with each other. So the AMPLIFi 150 can not know that its input is coming from a Firehawk and nor can the Firehawk know that it is connected to an AMPLIFi device. Neither device has any means of detecting the other and hence no basis for configuring themselves accordingly. -

silverhead replied to sunshinewelly's topic in AMPLIFi
I haven't heard any mention of Firehawk 'integrating with' the AMPLIFi devices. Of course, you could route the Firehawk outputs into the AMPLIFi aux input which effectively bypasses the AMPLIFi processing and uses it only as a speaker. But that's not really what I would call integration. Do you have something more sophisticated in mind? -
Possible to route the Aux In to the tuner on the HD500x?
silverhead replied to HeathDaddy's topic in POD HD
The tuner works with any physical input assigned to Input 1. If your Aux is assigned to Input 2 the tuner will not recognize it. -
There already is a sort of Undo feature. It applies to the whole preset, not just the most recent tweak(s). You can undo all unsaved changes to the preset by using the RECEIVE command in Edit. That retrieves the last-stored state of the preset from the device's memory, undoing all changes made in Edit since the last SEND command.
-
Each Hd500x preset includes settings for a Variax guitar. These settings specify whether the Variax remains under manual control or uses a specific model. Sounds like all your patches specify a specific model. If you don't want that, change each preset's Variax settings to Don't Force which means no change is made to the currently selected model/pickup setting. I believe there is also a global setting for this in the Settings section. To use the mag pickups exclusively, change the Global Input setting to Variax Mags for inputs 1 and 2.

Both device's defaults are the same. The previous owner changed it.
-
For beast results I would - connect the keyboard outputs to the HD500 cd/MP3 input - connect the speakers to the Hd500 outputs (e.g. Headphones or 1/4") - connect the HD500 to the computer via USB - make sure the Hd500 is configured as the computer's sound device for audio input and output
-
In the Settings, page 1, there is an FS Mode setting. You can choose to have the bottom row of footswitches control patch switching (FS ABCD) or FX on/off (FS 5-8).

I would guess the performance problems coming immediately after the drop is no coincidence. You probably damaged something inside, or at least knocked something loose. You (or someone who feels comfortable and is knowledgeable about electronics) need to take it apart and inspect it.

Great! Glad this is on track to being resolved to your satisfaction.

Select the looper in the main signal flow display. There is a playback volume control that will appear in the display.

Use the Line 6 ASIO usb driver. Do not use ASIO4ALL.

amplifi - what version of line6 tones are you getting
silverhead replied to sunshinewelly's topic in AMPLIFi
Yes. AMPLIFi is based on the Pod XT/X3 and Pod Farm tones. -
OK - guess I missed that tidbit of info. So I guess the scenario where you can be confident you won't experience the problem is after it gets repaired. :P
