I have a Kemper, too... it will definitely scratch the "I need multiple amps" itch... LoL!
-
If you vary all the settings in all of the amp models, plus try all the cab/mic combos, plus try a ton of IR's, you will find that having hundreds of amp models is not really necessary. As the previous poster noted, most amps are based on a handfull of vintage amp circuits. Tons of these mods are in the preamp section. A lot of the tone variances lie in the cabinets themselves.

At church, I plug straight into Helix via 1/4" and straight out to PA mixer via XLR. I'll see how the Radial DI does this evening.

Art church, nice new digital board... Midas m32 I believe. Noisey helix with or without ground lift. Taking a radial direct box tomorrow for practice. Helix is not noisy on our systems at all. They say there is no phantom power on my channel. I've got money it's their cheap xlr cables or a noisy snake channel Will update... It's not terribly noisy, just mild hum.

Jump on it, boys and girls!

You mean you can put in an IR block and use snapshots to change which IR it uses??? Holy cow!!!!
-
FYI: If you have not seen this review of the Helix, interesting stuff...

Yep... Line 6 had Helix in the works long before Yamaha showed up to the party... -
Yeah, why post something that someone else built as your own on a free patch download site? Jeez...

I'm just bummed that I didn't have time yesterday to test my new Glenn Delaune presets out... :(
-
Kinda partial to the Scribble strips considering they can change per preset. hehehe

Dude... believe me... anyone that can play a guitar like that should definitely be getting paid to do it... LoL!!!
-
Nice to have both... hehehe! We must be simliar... I tend to hug the blues to hard rock stuff. Also been playing since right before 2nd grade... I'm 48, so that puts me around a 42 year player... aCk!!! :P

Yeah... try coastal South Carolina... nothing even remotely sniffing Line 6 here... LoL!!!

I've had Axe Ultra, II XL+, AX8, Kemper, have another Kemper now... I rank the Helix up there with both of them tone and feel wise. I rank Helix way above Fractal for interface and a little above Kemper... Kemper is simple. I am fading in love with Kemper profiles all over again, but I fall in love with Helix again every time I play it, too. I don't play fanboy games, either, and I'm technically inclined. 1. Helix 2. Kemper (almost a tie) 3. Fractal Again, I'm not a side taker or a fanboy for anyone's stuff. All three are great and I believe anyone that is able to try all 3 in depth will just narrow it down by little personal preferences. In my humble opinion, they are all equally bad@zz!

You have got to be making lots of money playing.... wow...

Dude... that is some insane f#$%ing phrasing... jeez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's really compact and light, too!

I'm actually using a single 15" Seismic Audio powered coaxial monitor that has bass and treble controls for rough tweaking on the fly if needed. Usually run mine flat, though. I promise you they'll hear you through it. It's been used more than my Friedman ASM-12 has out live.

Likies! Thanks!

I find them very hard to ignore because they're SO FREAKING GREAT!!! LoL

I use a Kemper and Remote as backup...

4 snaps/4 stomps. Bank up/down. I may switch to 8 snaps.
