My Kemper has tons and tons of profiled fuses... But I like the quality and flexibility of the fuses that Helix emulates...

I actually have no problem coaxing amp I the room tone out of my 15" coaxial powered monitor... Does well with my Kemper, too. Either build your own preset or be prepared to eq someone else's to your tastes. Like others have said, it's all according to what you plug into, but you have to eq to your monitors and guitars.

My Friedman is pristine if anyone is looking for one.

I'm thinking about selling mine because I use my powered coaxial monitors more. However, it sounds great with the Helix, just a little hair darker (as it is with anything you plug into it). I used it with AX8 and Axe FX II XL+ before I got rid of them, too. So if you liked the Friedman ASM-12 with Fractal, you should like it fine with Helix.

Roll with it, bro! I got rid of my AX8 awhile ago now, but always enjoy comparison from someone else's perspective.

I'm Bipolar, myself. Think it's Type 3, whichever one that leans more toward the manic side. Revealed its ugly head when I was around 39 ten years ago. Meds seem to be doing well now.

This is very true... I quit monkeying around with amps as much myself anymore, but the guy that built my two custom amps kinda chuckles when people make it out like there are so many "boutique amp designs". Yes, there are a lot of great innovations and tweaks to existing circuits, but the wheel has not been totally reinvented that much.

I just use my Kemper if I fry my Helix, and vice versa... Don't be hatin on the P&W... I do part time pro, as well as P&W the weekends.

I get plenty of air movement and volume with my 15" coaxial powered monitor on a pole behind my head... don't miss the large guitar cab at all anymore. Church is not ear though and not the same. However, it's all about little too no stage volume there.

He's got to be THE most NEGATIVE poster on this board... jeez.

I buy patches and tweak them, I create patches from scratch... I appreciate both methods. I like having extra opinions/takes on a tone.
