I wonder that the device is not distributed in Germany and there are no reviews on Amazon. Didn't anybody bought the EPSi?

Does anybody know the weight of the FIREHAWK 1500? I can find no information about that.

I use phones-out > 6,3 mm to 3,5 mm jacks stereo-cable and have an adaptor with 3,5 femal to 2x cinch permanently plugged into my audio receiver. This way I can link my POD very comfortable. Hope this helps someone. -
Hi. On my HD500x there are tone-changes when connected to USB too. It seems, that changes are not applied sometimes to the output although the POD received the preset. It should help to receive the preset from the POD to let you hear your changes.

Maybe a stupid but (for me) elementary question on building tones: Do you start from a "designed" and good sounding clean-sound (maybe a pearling crispy one) if you build a crunch- or distortion-tone or do you use your unmodified bypass guitar-tone? I hope you do understand my needs, because my English gramma is very bad. Thank you, Sascha

I do not agree. The HD500X is still on sales rank 2 "multi effects" at our biggest web-seller, Thomann.de (and it is really a big store with many articles). And most of the reviews are from summer and autumn 2015 (bought my device as a Christmas present for myself)., so I am really sure that this device is still best selling and making good money with guitarist which do not want or aren't able to spent 1,500€ on their hobby. To keep costumers satisfied could keep this river running because IMO there is no need for a new or different device in the same price-range (it could also be just my wishful for us HD-users ;) Regards, Sascha

I think there is enough space in the spectrum of products, enough for the Helix + the HD500 / Pro-Series, to be sold over many years if they are well maintained by Line6. So I do hope, they recognize the benefits in maintaining a good product-series, without the force and expenses to release a new modeling device every two years. Keep existing costumes satisfied may be the best way to keep a positive reputation and let users spread their positive experiences all around the world. This could IMHO be interesting, under a economically viewpoint too. REGARDS Sascha P.S. Please excuse my poor English

Hi. Does someone have some kind of a "4 channel"-preset (or more), with a nice and clear clean, a warm bluesy low-Gain sound, a Marshall 800 like mid-Gain and a shredding high-Gain sound + solo-option. I heard it is possible to configure one preset that way to be used as a highly flexible multi channel amp. I would use your preset as a default construction for finding my basic tones in just one preset. Warm regards, Sascha (Please excuse my poor English. I'm from Gemany)

Removing Guitar-in and Headphone cable worked for me, too. I'm sure the problem was caused by the plugged guitar-cable.

By the way: Users of other gear seem to have frustrations, too. http://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/gt-100-visualizing-the-signal-path.1456168/ But I do like the flat design and the possibility to have an editable overall-view within a scrollable area. And it seems to me, that there is a alternative open source app for this device, which lets me hope, that L6 makes the code of our editor open source if they don't see no need for development anymore so that some day a cool guy could do its job for further use. I'm really sure that the Helix won't sell that much as the HD500/500x because it seems to be more specific for professional studio environment. The HD-Series seems to be a real bestseller for me (some kind of bread and butter-device) which lets me guess that this product runs cash into L6s pocket. So I'm optimistic about the further success and development of the device and its software.A big question for me is why there are several editors for similar devices, which seems to have different GUI and program-codes? If I would be CTO of Line 6 I would build the Editor as a default core for all similarly devices with several device-specific plugins as modules. That could keep development flat and gives the ability to offer some other add ons f.e. like skins. I really do hope, that the editor as it is released until now is not their last offer. That could be done much better on a modular layer and a responsive screen-design.

I'm sure you understand that my suggestions are nothing more than that. I am not able to program an alternative. But if there would be an "official" interest from Line 6 I could scribble a draft for a better GUI based on wishes of the community. Today I found the need for another feature request, using the editor for two days now: The output-volume of the Mixer could be linked for both channels (f.e. holding the shift key) so you don't have to change channels volume twice. This is very exhausting, especially because of there is not tab-option to switch focus of the cursor to next input field.

I do understand the need to color-code effects but for me it would be much clearer to reduce the coded area as a 100 pixel width background under the on/off button and make input fields flat and clear. Effects would not have to be color-coded if they are sorted as placed in the fx-path. First time I used the editor I was not even able to find the X to delete an effect :/ To design the GUI much more flat would be a great improvement, especially on very high resolution screens. But that is only my opinion working often on GUIs as a web designer.

To make things scalable (somehow like modern responsive web design which displays information in relation to the device used) and get rid of to much color should be the first steps. And of cause the order of the FXs listed into the FX list page should reflect exactly their order in the chain!

I would like to gather suggestions for the GUI of the editor. I like the surface to be cleaned up and not to keep it semi-realistic. Very disturbing are f.e. the dark and rich colors of the input fields. You can see the values ​​partially barely because a black typo is not first choice on every background, especially on high-res devices where fonts are very small. So why not get back to a much clearer grayscale GUI (like the attached hd 300 edit). Somehow there should be more focus and clarity to what you're doing. Less seems to be much more on a working-GUI. Also I would like to see original values ​​would be marked to retrieve them (and shortcuts for retrieve and zero/neutral values). Best would be a before / after comparison of settings for tone experiments (if there is not already the (I'm new here)). Please excuse my miserable English.

Hi. I fixed my USB problems on iMac using another USB-port on my iMac (used the first one now). There seems to be differences on different ports (maybe in power-supply) :huh: Maybe this will work for you to. Otherwise you should do a PRAM reset on your Mac. -

Unfortunately it is not possible to performe a Flash Memory-Update directly without a connection to the monkey :(

Monkey tells me, that Flash Memory installed is unknown - update stops with code 80007104 The Editor isn´t working to, giving me back an Code 80000000 I´ve tried doing the update in Safe Mode holding down the "right side" of the directional selector and power up the Pod (leads to some "overview") holding down the "down side" of the directional selector and power up the Pod (leads to "Update Flash"). I´ve tried the original USB-Cable and another one. I´ve tried to click "NO" when it asks you the keep the current patches. Please help me ASAP!!! Computer-Details: OS-X El Capitan 10.11.2 (15C50)
