You would have to dedicate a signal path in your preset to be able to do that. If you have the room in your preset, it will work just fine, but you will have to create that path in every preset you use. If you don't have the room in your presets, you can pick up a personal IEM amplifer for anywhere from $30-60.

If they did "improve" the older models, then as soon as those were pushed in a firmware update, you would have a bunch of users angry because all their presets don't sound the same anymore.

Those are not "serious" high cuts. When you think about the frequency response of a "real" guitar cabinet, the top end is around 6kHz. I usually run my high cuts, even on IRs, between 5.5-7.5k depending on the model. I usually have the treble and/or presence cranked pretty high (above 50% sweep) on most amp models as well. I am monitoring either through QSC Q10s, JBL EON 610s, or dual driver IEMs.

Direct to Mac via USB. Sound quality can't be beat, and zero latency.

How can I listen to an MP3 player to the Helix LT
jbuhajla replied to Tobleronelover's topic in Helix
I run USB from my PC/Mac also from my iPhone/Pad with a camera connection kit. USB audio comes in on USB 1/2 and you can adjust level in global settings>Ins Outs > USB 1/2 In trim. Using USB allows you to listen to audio without using a dedicated signal path in your preset. USB 1/2 is global. -
Haven't tried the strat (Seymour Duncan classic stack plus pickups) yet, but my Tele with SD vintage stack pickups sound FANTASTIC through the Lonestar model. I modified my Litigator based presets with the Lonestar model.

I hear ya. I am not religious either, but I am a believer. I do enjoy it tremendously, and it is a way for me to support the church and everyone that attends. I don't have time to play for other things other wise. Our entire worship band is all volunteer.
-
Yep, praise and worship. Although, it could work for Passion and Warfare as well (love me some Vai). I don't play at a mega-church with a big budget. Small-medium size, and I volunteer my time for it. I love it.

Yep, it is the hub of my goto preset now...

You can put your firehawk in one of the loops if you really want it badly.

Ok, thanks. I've got the new reverbs where I like them with enough mix (in series). So when the issue is fixed, I will just have to revisit the mix parameter to turn them down a bit. Ain't no big thang since they sound so dang good. I can see where having more would be good with some very ambient sounds though.

Im not familiar with the HXFX interface, but you will have to take one of your existing effects blocks and pull it down to a parallel path. Then put all your effects on the parallel path. You can put a volume control on the parallel path to control the amount of wet in your signal.

Unnecessary. Use all mono for more DSP. However, if you connect to both the amps you mentioned, then stereo.

Did you measure voltage at the micro USB once you discovered where the problem was. I suspect something happened with the car charger circuit you used, or it was just a cheap converter that dirtied up the power. A good quality 9v to 5v DC/DC converter is a great way of going from your pedal board power supply to the G10.
-
It may not be a bug, but just "more" reverb with the stereo models due to time offset between left and right even when summed to mono at the end. Just a thought... Doubt that has anything to do with the high gain/reverb interaction though.

Navigation from a specific snapshot in one preset to another SS in another...
jbuhajla replied to RockManDan's topic in Helix
If I did need to change to a specific snap in a preset, I would save the preset with that snap called up so then it is just a change of preset. -
Praise & Worship/Contemporary Christian: Hillsong United, Bethel, Elevation Worship, Crowder, Switchfoot, Mercy Me...

Any switches from one preset to another will result in the momentary audio gap. -
Or a cheap $250 Windows 10 machine.

I am a low-mid gain player, P&W mostly at this time. My current Main Preset within the Helix (may change a little this weekend after playing with new amp, reverbs, and delay): Kinky boost (always on)> Kinky comp>volume pedal> Minotaur> TS808> Litigator Amp> One of the new reverbs (mono)> split split A: Marshall Basketweave IR split B: Opti Trem> Bubble Trem> Grey Flanger> Simple Delay> Tape Echo Delay> DrZ 2x12 IR Stomps assigned to: comp, Minotaur, 808, Opti trem, bubble trem, flanger, simple delay, tape echo, LONG/SHORT (for delay mix/feedback) EXP1 volume EXP2 amp drive/master/channel volume EXP3 trem speed, tape echo feedback, some other things I can't remember now

I'm going to drop it into my go to P&W preset this evening to give it a go. Currently it is Litigator based.

Now you have to post a video of you playing through the new Mesa Lonestar Ch2 model as repayment.

It's going to be 2.80, duh...
