Line 6 employees/management do not patrol this forum. This is a users forum. Just thought I would mention that because it sounded as though you were attempting to get the attention of Line 6.
  2. Yes, always let all other wireless systems come up and online. Then insert your transmitter into the base to let it scan for available frequencies and set itself up. If any of the other systems change their channel, there is always the chance that they switch it to what the G10 configured itself for. If that happens, insert the transmitter in the base again to it can scan and configure to a free frequency.
  3. I don't know man, I don't use the Rectifier model. My go-to presets use the Litigator, Lonestar, Deluxe Reverbs, Bassman, and Plexi Bright models. I am a clean to medium crunch kind of guy. I use on board cabs and IRs. I have full dynamics, everything from barely there finger strummed to all out digging in trying to break strings (piano to forte). Playing on strats and teles. I have a compressor at the front of each preset to squish things when I DON'T want the dynamics. Zero issues with dynamics. As a matter of fact, the dynamics is what convinced me to buy the unit. Feels like the real amps to me.
  4. I don't have that issue using Reaper.
  5. Which amp model and IR do you have in your empty signal chain?
  6. I can see them. Yep, that's low. The clean parts on the second video sound kind of Chapman Stickish.
  7. Mono and Stereo blocks are completely different blocks, so it will always revert to default settings. You will also lose any snapshot parameter control by doing that as well.
  8. What amp/cab/IR models are you trying to use in Helix that you are having issue with "feel"? Also, what are you monitoring your tones from Helix through?
  9. Looks like a nice option. There seem to be quite a few pre-built adapter/converter options coming out the past year or so.
  10. If you are getting clipping from guitar>focusrite>macbook>software>focusrite>speakers, but you are NOT getting clipping from Macbook>Youtubes>focusrite> speakers, then I would venture to guess that whatever you are using for guitar processing is too hot.
  11. Man you guys are freaks! Try to post a link to some audio though. I'd like to hear some of this 8 string drop tuning madness you are doing.
  12. That is not a bug. If you went to a block before the amp, changed it to mono, you get the default settings of that block. You are choosing a "fresh" block in place of the one you had.
  13. Plug your JBL monitors directly into Helix and see what you think. If you are not playing live, you will most likely be happy with that setup, and will give you plenty of volume. I wouldn't buy anything new until you try what you have. You'll be able to ditch the interface as well. Guitar >Helix> LSR305. Connect Helix to Macbook with USB. Good to go...
  14. I'm on 2.50 still and none of the "known bugs" effect me in any way. If you use MIDI or amp switching, then you may want to bump up to 2.53
  15. The "amp in a room" sensation and "amp dynamics" are two different things. So what do you have in your signal chain in your presets? A compressor anywhere in your signal chain will take away some or all of your picking dynamics. What are you monitoring your sound through? Some amp models are not very dynamic (modeled and/or real). I play through FRFR'ish powered speakers. All of my go to presets are VERY dynamic. Even playing through two FRFR'ish speakers, it still doesn't "feel" like an amp in the room, because it is not designed to. It is designed to sound like a guitar amp that is mic'ed up in the studio, and you are listening in the control booth. That is actually what I prefer anyway, so it works well for me.
  16. You are getting that error when trying to download from Customtone, or when trying to register your Helix?
  17. Did you check your global settings to make sure your MIDI base channel or something like that didn't get changed during the update?
  18. Helix presets won't work in HD500 and vice versa. The other question you have is probably more appropriate for the HD forum.
  19. With Helix you can put a delay in a parallel path at 100% mix and do whatever crazy stuff you want with the repeats. Just put another effect block behind the delay in that parallel path and see what you can create. It opens up a lot of territory for creativity. Imagine on your repeats having a "bitcrusher", various filter effects, etc...
  20. Yup, I use two. On board for volume, EXP2 for drive related stuff, and EXP3 for time based stuff.
  21. What firmware revision is your rack on?
  22. That shouldn't be the case. A line level output is pretty much standard across audio component platforms. With Helix, you can set the output to Line or Mic level.
  23. I am not sure. I have never used auto engage.
  24. Wah blocks default to EXP1 because of the auto enable/bypass functionality.
