  1. The HX Edit application is version 2.51 and the Helix firmware is version 2.50.
  2. Any other questions? Silverhead and I have been busy! :)
  3. Did you download the macOS version by mistake? You can also just open the Line 6 Updater application and let it pull down the firmware for you.
  4. I believe you are supposed to disconnect Helix Control (for Helix Rack users) before you launch the Line 6 Updater. Also make sure to close HX Edit. You can't have both of those apps running simultaneously. Hope this helps you.
  5. IMHO, Line 6 should list out all new presets along side the amps, effects, etc. Perhaps if they could incorporate "tags" (or something like that) into HX Edit to help identify new features that might be somewhat helpful.
  6. Why would you contact Microsoft for an Apple issue? Make sure you close out of ALL applications before running the Line 6 Updater. What version of macOS are you running?
  7. Did you install the Line 6 Mac audio driver? I find that it works just fine without it. I would suggest updating your macOS version to Sierra (10.12.x) or High Sierra (10.13.x). It's free from Apple.
  8. You can't have both applications running at the same time when you're connected to your Helix. The device can only communicate with one application at a time. Exit out of all applications (including Logic Pro, MainStage, etc.) and run the Line 6 Updater by itself. It should work for you then.
  9. Make sure you read the beginning of this thread before posting the same questions. Silverhead described everything you need to do. There are some additional, manual steps required post-upgrade if you want the new factory presets.
  10. You can't have both applications running at the same time when you're connected to your Helix. The device can only communicate with one application at a time. Exit out of all applications (including Logic Pro, MainStage, etc.) and run the Line 6 Updater by itself. It should work for you then.
  11. FYI: You can’t have two applications using or communicating with the Helix at the same time. This is nothing new with this version.
  12. Awesome. Glad it worked for you. Thanks to silverhead.
  13. You might do a full backup and full factory reset of everything. Also make sure you're connected directly to one of your computer's USB ports and not through a USB hub. You probably know this already, but just in case...
  14. Read the two posts right above this one.
  15. This is a crucial step in order to get the new firmware's factory presets. Just make sure to manually backup each of your individual user setlists, IRs, etc., perform the factory reset procedure, then manually restore your individual user setlists, IRs, etc. Done.
  16. Worked like a charm. Restored my user setlists and I'm a happy camper. Thank you, silverhead!
  17. From silverhead: "Factory1 32A Space Case showcasing a couple of the new reverbs."
  18. From silverhead on another post: "Factory1 32A Space Case showcasing a couple of the new reverbs."
  19. Download the Line 6 Updater and launch it. Make sure you close out of any applications being used with the Helix. Make sure you backup all of your global settings, user setlists, IRs, etc. first.
  20. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I'm sure they'll take care of you.
  21. I usually do a full reset anyway and restore my user setlists and minor settings.
  22. Cool. I'm glad that worked for you!
  23. Have you tired calling Customer Service? They are very friendly and helpful and I'm confident that will do whatever it takes to make you happy. And for the record, I believe this was offered before your warranty ran out in September. I got my Helix around the same time (September 2017) and the extended warranty was offered to me when I registered it.
