someone mentioned EZKeys... fantastic program for what it does... you don't have to play anything, the program can do it all for you. Just build the chord progression you want and fit the pieces together. All on your computer.

if you really need to add another effect you will need more hardware. It's a computer. Once it reaches its limit its done. No point complaining. Add something to it like an M5 or a Zoom MS70CDR to offload some post amp DSP. Otherwise if this one thing is a deal killer, sell it and move on... good luck.

so I was kinda starting to wonder what I might be missing with Axe FX so I figured WTF? download the Axe Edit program and see what's up. Holy bat$hit... If you think tweaking a POD tone is tough just look at the myriad of things to adjust on there. Not to mention auditioning different IR's and effects, routings, etc... tweaker's nightmare... I would NEVER get any playing time with that thing... :wacko:

Welcome to the boards ! Just like in hockey, sometimes you get crashed against them... lol... its all good. Many on here will spend a lot of time trying to get you where you want to be, myself included... keep an open mind. Sometimes we have to revisit things we thought we already knew, sometimes we just didn't explain ourselves well... sometimes we just want things that are physically impossible... usually we get close enough that it makes it all worthwhile...

Dude, seriously? I use dual amps all the time and there are no huge issues with comb filtering or synchronization. The only real issue is DSP usage and there are ways to work around that. You should be a little more careful with your choice of words...

I set mine to Line with the Velocity 300... it is a hotter signal and I love it in stereo myself...

native instruments Kontakt 5 is a real standout. There are so many good libraries available for it especially orchestral and even some free ones...

I submitted something on ideascale a while back to be able to create our own custom pickups... windings, magnets, material, etc... vote it up!

I don't have a clue why you should be hearing any noise whatsoever if the FX Loop is turned off. That is not possible to my mind and I use pedals in my loop. If I turn the Loop off there is nothing from the pedal at all. Do you have the FX Loop mix set to 100%? Make sure it is so your full signal goes out to the pedals and back. As for the other question, try lowering the SEND level and see if that helps at all. You can compensate volume by raising the RETURN levels. You can also try setting the switch to LINE and adjusting levels to see what that does for you.
