you don't use the 1/4" for DT amps (typically) you'd use the L6LINK (digital xlr) not sure if this product would be suitable for this purpose... (or that the hum would reside in the same place, being that the amp is fed digitally)

you paid for the x3.... the x3 just carried the model packs to you :D (seriously, the x3 dies, your license dies... this in effect means even people buying used x3's get the license.) but yeah you can have both versions installed... but if you don't have a pod farm 2.x license, i'd just uninstall it.

1. you should look for info on the 4 cable method (4cm) that would explain the setup alot better for you. 2. no plans for mobile that i'm aware of (for example an ipad not having an official usb port... they aren't going to support some camera kit hack) 3. the eleven rack might warrant some consideration... you can get those for @ 350$ new on ebay (without the pro tools software) but the 500/500x is a great value... 4. they still support things far older than the 500, i think you'd be safe for a long time.

you don't own the model packs.. .the x3 does... and they are included for use in pod farm 1.12 as long as your x3 is connected to your machine, you are using the right version of pod farm (2.x+ is not a free upgrade) you will have all the model packs available to you when using pod farm.... disconnect the x3 and the license goes with it... you need to use line6 monkey and the license manager to authorize the x3 (not your computer)

have you ran line6 monkey on the machine? you may be missing the line6 driver and using some built in windows midi driver.... just a guess.

the 500x has more horsepower can run more effects etc... because of that you may not be able to run 500x patches on a 500.. so going back won't a;ways be an option. the 500x also has improved footswitches.

yes, by renaming the file extension... backup 500 with 500 edit rename backup extension use 500x edit to load to 500x

if you like an ibanez/esp profile type flat neck the 89 is great... not really my normal thing, but i do like that type of neck for some things.

the guitars and the switch are correct if you have this on a desk in front of you.... the guitars are as they would be on your lap... although it does look upside down if you intend to wall mount it :D

you're luthier is taking you to the bank at 75$ dang!! haha anyway... i have the korean 59 i'd give it a 9 i just never ended up caring for the color (i got the black one -.5) outside of that, it has it's quirks (-.5) but i can work around them easy enough.... overall great instrument... get the color you REALLY want... regardless of what's "in stock" at the time.

To my knowledge there is no plans to add these to customtone... they didn't have the original variax files either.. so i wouldn't get your hopes up there.

the forums only have users.. i dont have any specific experience with your gear... but perhaps use an adapter and go into a cd/mp3 input? that would bypass all the amps settings.

they aren't likely to do so... I do imagine that this is a priority for them, and should come somewhat quickly.

hey guys... try this... just did it to mine and position 2/4 sound much closer to the 1.9 type strat... i changed the taper from audio to linear on the pots. its still an HD model.. and still subjective... but making this small change seemed to bring them closer. also, it looked like the default position 2 only had the middle pup engaged... so i turned on the bridge with that model. anyway be curious to know if this does anything for anyone else.

i just wonder if maybe the middle spank pup isn't reverse wound in the model...
