  1. My favorite is the Dimension. You can get a very subtle effect on setting 1 or 2
  2. FYI... Forget about Gearbox, if this is a new POD Studio (black faced) use POD Farm 2. Good luck with the bandwidth!!
  3. So if NO cables are plugged into the AMPLIFi you still keep the noise?
  4. I have seen users report that the lag is less if you are not paired to Remote App.
  5. I think you partially answered your own question. The FX100 does have an AMP Out that is meant to go in front of an amp, and yes, keeping the Vox as clean as possible will help. If the Vox has an FX loop, you could run the FX100's Main Out(s) to the FX Return. Yes, the FX100 works well straight to a PA.
  6. 'member when a Bad Monkey in front of an xt was all the rage??
  7. Is there another PC you can try? In the meantime is there an OS7 or 8 device you can use?
  8. Does it happen if no cables are plugged into the AMPLIFi? Drive @ 100% is pretty aggressive.
  9. No prob!! And no simple mindedness, if you're not familiar with audio interfaces, it isn't really that intuitive to many. The question comes up a lot for the PODs.
  10. It becomes your sound device, so all the iPad sounds go thorough the SP. As soon as you unplug then the iPad reverts back to being its own sound device.
  11. Have you downloaded the newest Monkey/Drivers from Line6? If not, start there, post back if the newest Monkey cannot see the UX. The disc are typically useless, except as flying discs, coasters, or installation art.
  12. Did you chance the blend or master volume?
  13. Yes, you can flash via Bluetooth with an iOS 7 or 8 device to the current firmware.
  14. In Pod Farm. I think in POD Farm 1, the default for sends 1/2 are processed. Either way, check the mixer view in POD Farm, and which ever sends are processed, or that you set to be processed, use those as inputs in MC.
  15. Pretty much, just check the mixer view to ensure 3/4 is Tone A+B. Also, as I stated before, if you did have projects where you used the PF plug-in's, you could freeze those trax in MC while the UX is connect, then will not need it after the fact.
  16. +1 to bhamnerky You can however save a tone to "My Tones" independent of the player.
  17. Not sure if you need to or not. I like to just to be thorough. Q: How can I reset the AMPLIFi to its default settings? A: To perform a factory reset and restore a AMPLIFi 75, 150, or TT to factory settings press and hold Master Volume knob and Tone button as you power up the unit, keep holding them both down until you see the LED's around the Master Volume knob light up. To perform a factory reset and restore the AMPLIFi FX100 to factory settings press and hold the Master Volume knob and the TAP button as you power up the unit, keep holding them both until you see '01' in the LED display.
  18. This is a user forum, although official Line6 reps do drop in every now and then. you can submit ideas here. http://line6.ideascale.com/ If you do, feel free to post a link to your idea.
  19. +1 to Zap. If you record wet, it will always be wet. It's only the plug-in (launches from within MC as a VST) that would require the UX to be recognized. Also, don't worry about the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel settings, they are overridden when running PF standalone.
