  1. I just download this preset and I can't really see what the issue is, other than mentioned by "silverhead", in the post above. The preset is split into 2 paths, one clean, and one dirty with the "morph" effect achieved by moving the EXP2 (volume pedal) to mix between the two sounds on path A and B. It would seem that the reparative volume level between the clean and dirty and been balanced to give similar levels of output. There is some hefty gain reduction in the 2 Parametric EQ blocks, especially the dirty channel with -11dB in the Low and -9.6 in the Mid, although I can't see why you say there is no response from the amp Master control. The Placater Dirty channel volume is 8.2, and the Master at 4.8, so quite a bit left there and when cranked up it gets loud, very loud. The person who posted the preset suggests that the EQ could need some modification as the patch was set up for his MIM Strat running into a Headspace 112 monitor All of this is in the notes accompanying the preset. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  2. Hi, Well, as noted by Digital Igloo, Eric Klein Chief Product Design Architect at Yamaha Guitar Group, Inc. / Line 6 / Ampeg, in his comment (in the thread which I posted above) - the copy all blocks function already exists, it is called “Save As”. Now give it a new name, but that will be an exact duplicate of the preset, which - yes - is a copy of all the blocks. You are asking for the option to select and copy a single path - that is different and currently not available. If you have an “idea to push”, then this is definitely not the place to pitch the idea. There are no Line staff here and only very occasionally do they visit these forums - See the “sticky comment” in the black banner stripe at the top of this page entitled “Welcome to the Line 6 forums” This link is where you need to go to have any hope of your idea been seen by anyone from Line 6: https://line6.ideascale.com/a/index Before posting any new ideas, please do a search to see if it's already been listed (it probably has). Multiple requests for the same thing will dilute the votes. Also, post your ideas one at a time. Many users don’t vote for combined suggestions. You should use this thread below to let other users know what your suggestions are, with links to IdeaScale, so they can vote on it if they wish. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  3. Splendid - there I was, half expecting a Neil Young reference. ;-)
  4. It is the only place where you are able to place requests for additional features, and they may actually be added to the Helix family. As a website, it doesn’t seem to be that well maintained - as you have found. There are many things in there that have actually already been implemented in previous firmware updates. There are also other things that are simply going to be regarded as too weird to contemplate ever being included. You may not like it - but it’s your only option. People vote for what they think might be good. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  5. Yeah, where is my Palomino?
  6. Is there some sort of misalignment in the time space continuum?
  7. In case you didn’t notice - “brune” made that post back in February 2020, and has posted nothing since, so your comment may not be received by “brune”. Recently there was a another thread regarding how, and where to patch in an external looper - here’s a link if you care to take a look. https://line6.com/support/topic/64259-external-looper-wiring-and-signal-chain-assistance/#comment-434409 Google Translate: Au cas où vous ne l'auriez pas remarqué - "brune" a publié ce message en février 2020 et n'a rien publié depuis, donc votre commentaire peut ne pas être reçu par "brune". Récemment, il y avait un autre sujet concernant comment et où patcher un looper externe - voici un lien si vous voulez jeter un œil. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  8. Hi, Short answer - No. As you have already realised, you can create a template, (IIRC, there is one in the Helix featuring guitar and vocal), but if you use it to produce several other presets, you cannot change any of the blocks to automatically change across all the others. I accept that some users may think that the ability to change multiple blocks simultaneously, across lots of presets, may seem a good idea. It could also be a complete disaster waiting to happen. Create a template and then create your duplicate presets from that, and then make changes locally to each individually preset. You could make a change to a reverb block, then copy and paste that into another preset, then repeat for the other blocks that are changed. There is currently no way to select an entire path of blocks and paste them into another preset, but the idea has been suggested many times. In fact, here is someone with a similar situation as yours - see this link, and if you like it vote for the idea from the links supplied in the thread. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  9. Hi, “HelixUser333” (only half way to 666) LOL! Some say it is the devil’s work, and loaded with dark Satanic Messages (pass the bullsh!t repellent, and then Google “back masking”), but it’s simple enough - it’s just studio trickery- record your guitar then flip it over to play in reverse. The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and many, many more people (including me) were a big fans of this stuff, only in their day you had to physically print the audio to tape and then turn it over to play it backwards and record it again. If you’re not a genuine “Time Lord”, just follow the guidance offered by “craiganderton” in his post above. I know we have predictive text, but predictive musical notes? Yeah, right, let me know when that pedal hits the streets. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  10. Hi, You could be a little late to the party - the OP posted this comment 6 years back in 2016. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  11. Hi, In case you didn’t realise, you posted your question to a thread that has been quietly sleeping for 5 years. Hmm…! When weird stuff happens - try a factory reset - and if that doesn’t clear the bug, try a reinstall of the latest firmware. Reset Options Helix Floor/LT Button Combination Description 2 LED light Fun 3 & 4 Test Mode 5 & 6 Global reset 7 & 8 Reset setlists to factory, Keep IRs 8 & 9 Reset setlists to factory, Clear IRs 9 & 10 Reset setlists to factory, Global reset, Clear IRs 10 & 11 Upgrades existing presets to latest format 11 & 12 Clear current preset 5 & 12 Clear setlists, clear IRs, Return system settings to default 6 & 12 Safe boot mode To use Reset Options: Power off the Helix Hold the desired button combination Power on the Helix Release the button combination Please note: Buttons are numbered from top left to bottom right If you have tied these options without success, then you need to raise a ticket with Customer Support. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  12. Hi, It’s a good idea not to cross post the same questions. See the replies in the thread you started. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  13. Hi, Yeah, one of the first things that I did when I first got my Helix floor 7 years back, was to patch my old POD HD500 into the FX Loop, simply because I wanted to use the old Dimensions effect. As noted by “theElevators” in the post above, all those effects that were in the older products, POD. M series, etc., are now available under the Legacy section of the effects blocks. Hope this helps/makes sense.
  14. Hi, I don’t understand when you say that you “cannot register” your Helix LT or download the Updater? Firstly, you managed to post in here, therefore you are logged in as a user. From the menu bar at the top of this page, you can click on “Support” and then on the next page you can see a red coloured icon on the top right. From under that icon’s drop down menu you can see “Hardware and Software”, and below that you should select “Registered Gear”. On the next page you can enter the details for your product and then click the “Register Gear” button. Secondly, with regard to the Line 6 Updater - you say that you have already installed the HX Edit software, so you don’t need the Updater unless you have suffered from a firmware update failure. You simply need to connect your Helix LT to your computer with the supplied USB cable that came with the hardware, then run HX Edit while connected to the internet. HX Edit should then detect if your LT requires a firmware update, if it does then it should then perform the necessary update automatically. All of this is fully documented in the Release Notes for the firmware updates. Hope this helps/makes sense. Note: BTW, the thread you posted to is 3 years old
  15. Hi, You are unlikely to get a response from the OP as you didn’t quote from his post, and even then you may not get a reply to a single post that is 8 months old. The same guy posted the exact same question on the same date over on TGP. No response there either, see link below. https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/modern-accessories-address-old-prosonic-problems.2227665/ Not all channel switching modes are the same for any given manufacturer. Possibly the Prosonic is one of the oddball switching systems that just doesn’t work as you would expect. There was some discussion in this forum:- https://www.tdpri.com/threads/prosonic-combo-footswitch.1090646/ Hope this helps/makes sense.
  16. Hi, As explained by “silverhead” in the post above - this is expected behaviour. This is normal - when you load the preset it is exactly as it was prior to it’s previous “saved state”. As soon as you hit a “snapshot”, the preset has then changed from the “saved state” and so the “E” is displayed to show you it has changed and is an “edited” version of the original. It’s nothing to worry about, it’s simply a reminder. If you now choose to save the preset with the changes made by the “snapshot”, the next time you load that preset, and then move to another “snapshot”, the same thing will happen, simply because it has changed again from the last saved state. This will happen on any preset, either factory, or user, as soon as anything changes from how the preset was saved. Hope this helps/makes sense. NOTE: You posted your comment about a POD Go to a Helix thread that is 5 years old.
  17. Hi, You are posting to a thread that had it’s last comment made well over a year back. There are so many comments about this 0-100-0% issue, it really should have it’s own “sticky thread”. See these: Hope this help/makes sense.
  18. Hi, As you have managed to start the unit up, it’s obvious that power is getting into it. This could be a situation where you have a glitch in the software/firmware. When weird stuff happens - try a factory reset - and if that doesn’t clear the bug, try a reinstall of the latest firmware . Reset Options Helix Floor/LT Button Combination Description 2 LED light Fun 3 & 4 Test Mode 5 & 6 Global reset 7 & 8 Reset setlists to factory, Keep IRs 8 & 9 Reset setlists to factory, Clear IRs 9 & 10 Reset setlists to factory, Global reset, Clear IRs 10 & 11 Upgrades existing presets to latest format 11 & 12 Clear current preset 5 & 12 Clear setlists, clear IRs, Return system settings to default 6 & 12 Safe boot mode To use Reset Options: Power off the Helix Hold the desired button combination Power on the Helix Release the button combination Please note: Buttons are numbered from top left to bottom right Hope this helps/makes sense.
  19. You may want to read this - it’s quite old, but useful. https://www.dropbox.com/s/68uptvxviegpkgo/The Unofficial Helix MIDI Guide.pdf?dl=0 Hope this helps/makes sense.
  20. There really should be a “sticky” thread for this thing about expression pedals and Line 6 hardware. Check the date on these threads. https://line6.com/support/topic/15999-external-expression-pedal-calibration/ Hope this helps/makes sense.j
  21. Simple. Type, “line 6 helix coloured nuts”, into a search engine of your choice. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193545331122 Or you could check out the stuff supplied by Chad Boston of the Helix Family Facebook group. He has this business for custom parts. https://www.gearbyceba.com/line6-family-international Hope this helps/makes sense.
  22. Here’s the comparison chart from the Line 6 Helix Family product page: https://line6.com/documents/processor_comparison_chart/Line_6_Processor_Comparison_Chart.pdf Floor, Rack and LT are the only ones with Variax input, and AES/EBU Digital out.

  24. Strap in, it’s gonna be a long ride. ;-)
  25. Here ya go! Check out post #6 in this thread - Buy the T-Shirt - it was posted by Digital Igloo - AKA, Eric Klein (Chief Product Design Architect at Yamaha Guitar Group, Inc. / Line 6 / Ampeg). The post from DI at number 9 is even better. Roll yer own!
