  1. Amazing, great job. thank you very much
  2. updated my 2015 MacBook Air 11'' to Monterey today. HX Edit and Helix Native are running perfectly fine, no problems here
  3. I don't know anything, but I'm excited too
  4. I had the same problem. Check the little switches inside the DVP4, one off them is in the wrong position.
  5. Love the new tuner. Thanx for fixing the Delay-Bug, that made me crazy.
  6. I'm using the UE7 for 2 years. love them, they fit and sound perfect for me
  7. I can confirm that there is a problem. I tried all my patches, the tempo of the delays is like I stored them, everything sounds right. the flashing tempo light is wrong, looks like it shows the global tempo
  8. I'm using this DI-Box for pluging my Acoustic Guitar into the Mic Input of the Helix. Sounds amazing http://www.thomann.de/at/radial_engineering_sb_1.htm?ref=search_rslt_radial+sb-1_301885_0
  9. called support, they told me to return it to the store and exchange it there. could keep the defective one till I got the new one 3 weeks later
  10. happend to me. was a hardware issue, got a new helix
  11. I having the same problem with footswitch #9 all the others work with just a soft click, looks like #9 sometimes needs more pressure.
  12. my LEDs also freaked out completely. line6-support told me it was a hardware issue. got a new helix, everything's all right so far ...... fingers crossed
  13. thanx phil_m, I opened the support ticket
  14. my helix has a big problem reloaded every firmware-version a couple of times, also the newest 1.03.0 sound seems ok. TAP Led is not flashing anymore, is ON in the Global Setting, doesn't make a difference if I turn On or OFF Bank Down Led is ON in Patch Mode Pressing a Patch A Switch turns on the Patch C LED Pressing a Patch B Swich turns on the Bank Down Led totally crazy... seams like a hardware problem :-(
  15. don't know if it's a bug, but this seems weird. turn off the volume with the expression pedal or the volume pot on the variax then switch to another patch volume is full on there's no way to make a 'silent' patch change
  16. cacibi you're right, I can confirm that. I only used the bias trem, it works there. I'm using the latest firmware
  17. look at page 24 in the manual: Adjusts the rate of the effect, with higher settings providing faster rates. Press the knob to toggle between numeric and note values. Not all Rate parameters can be synced to note values, as they may be non-linear and highly interactive. Adjusts the delay/repeat time, with higher settings providing longer delays. Press the knob to toggle between ms and note values. Choosing a ms value provides a specific time in milliseconds; choos- ing a Note Division value provides a time based on the current tempo. With a note division value, this parameter’s value is retained when changing models.
  18. just opened the box, now updating :)
  19. It would be absolutely amazing to be able to backup Helix sounds to a USB-stick. Go to a rehearsal, studio or gig and just plug the stick into another Helix. No need for a computer

    Helix FAQ

    That's a great idea !!!
  21. thanx a lot. today I played the first gig with the hd500x, no problems at all. just imported the bundle the way you described it. sounded the same as the hd500 the day before. the new switches/leds are so much better, loved them :)
  22. good news: mralmostpopular wrote: Just a note for anyone looking to upgrade, the HD500X uses a different file format than the HD500 (.5xe for the 500X, .h5e for the 500). I went ahead and tried simply changing the extension, and they do seem to open in the new edit software. I haven't noticed any issues, but I also haven't yet had a chance to go through and make sure that they retained all of their settings. The reasoning for making a new file format was probably for the customtone gallery, but it seems like an odd move for them not to make the 500X directly backwards compatible with the older format. Luckily, I only had a handful of patches for the 500, but someone who's made a ton of patches over the last couple of years is probably going to find the process of changing the file format and testing the patches to be very tedious. I can confirm that :)
