I was doing the VH thing last night and a TS (gain ~ 45-50%) driving the PV (gain ~ 50%) is a lot of distortion - EQs and the Red Comp too btw. Though TBH I really preferred the Variac'd Plexi with the Brit T-75 cab and condenser mic (IIRC the 67).

But if you are hardcore and really want to print a list. Fire up HD Edit and use screen print - edit out the excess and paste into word. "dental drill metal" \m/

Can I send an email to Line6 Support team?
BillBee replied to leemh's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
From what I have seen the Variax Team is really supportive. -
How would a different interface give you pro (better) results? Aren't you just throwing another layer of A/D conversion on the signal? Just saying I have heard "immense" tone from some recordings here. 9/10 when I record and it sounds like poop its usually due to my patch config for going to my live setup and I have to tweak it for recording. Just curious my man.

Sure you can write them - go to the top of this page click "Support" in there choose Submit a Support Ticket. -
Used $$$ can go further.

Question: Why would you go global instead of a para eq and use a narrow Q to surgically remove the freqs? I only ask as its my understanding that there are other useful freqs in the areas that may get "tossed out with the bath" so to speak. Note: I don't have a Helix but am curious.

Flextone 3 and awful hum problem
BillBee replied to zappaman123's topic in Flextone I / II / III / Duoverb / HD147
Dude its tough to say over the internet but chances are that yes it should be checked out. -
I think you will be pleased with the setup. I've ran an HD thru my old PA (Peavey PA Head and Kustom PA speakers) and it does sound really good after it was EQ'd to limit the tweeter and woofer response.

One thing you can look at is check the ports and see if all the cat5 pins are still straight. If one is askew the signal path is broken, you might be able to line it up again. If you know the 2nd FBV is good and tried a different cable with no luck a bent pin on the amp is hopefully it. Wishing you some luck! B

That tube comp is like the "Ms. Dash" of seasoning for the HD and I like a TS with no drive in front to kick up the volume without increasing amp gain.

Dude, a warranty = send that puppy in - its new and it shouldn't have that issue. Whenever I do wait on stuff like that it will die the first month out of warranty be a 'puter, stove, etc.... and then it gets expensive.
-
Wouldn't that mean that the notes are lined up? :) Can't you view the separate wave forms in Reaper prior to the mix down? Unmixed at least would let you see the spikes from guitar and drums.

Yep purchased model packs are linked to your account and you should be able to authorize them for up to 4 devices. IIRC the UX2 comes with the FX Junkie.

POD Farm 2,01 does not conect with KB37
BillBee replied to JohnyBe's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Well it sees the device so the initial hurdle is passed the USB works. Did you register it? After that you should have an option for authorization in the L6 License Manager. Is it authorized to use PF2? I know there is some cut off dates with the UXs and PF1 and 2 but am not sure about the KBs. For S&Gs try PF1 and see if it works. -
Yep you are correct Sir! Call me pickle fingers!! I got distracted by ""Boobs"" :D

I know PG (EDIT :) and I wouldn't disagree with you) that there is bad patch writing. I am hoping they must have liked them for some reason other then to stick them up there. :D I am thinking positive today!
-
To be honest you are better of making your own patches. CT is great as a resource but 99% of the uploads are not that good - its not necessarily due to bad patch writing but everyone's gear and tastes are different. But that said any patch that has been DL'ed a lot might be worth checking out. You can always swap out the amp/cab and see what direction that leads.
-
IMO the easier way to get a natural sound with an amp is to use the FX loop or just the power amp section. Try the 4 cable method if you want to use the amps pre too but you will have to spend some time dialing it in and getting the balance. You will always get coloring with a cab (some even with FRFR and through the desk) but that is not a bad thing. L)

Try calibrating the pedal. Unplug everything but the power cord and hold down "bank up" while powering on. You might have to reflash it as that is the way to factory reset it. -
Fates Warning \m/ Loved that band - I really should check out the stuff they recorded after the 90's when they fell off my metal radar! XT Pro -> good eye my man! -B
-
Didn't think that was possible. I would try to reflash it with the correct firmware. If it fails go to the top of this page go to "Support" then on that page choose to send a support ticket to Line 6.
