Did you save it? I have to hit "save" on the HD to make that happen. But if you fire up HD Edit and its not in one of the set lists then hope you saved it on the ole 'puter somewhere.

Thanks for the updates on this. I've been hemming and hawing over an IR loader and love AMT stuff.

Its been a while since I fired up the ole UX but generally I don't remember anything more tricky than plugging it in, firing up PF and choosing the UX as the interface in the DAW (Reaper BTW). Change tones? Yep in PF. Never bothered with going dry and trying to reamp. I would go there first if you have never got it to work decently at all. and you should try other ports and a different cable. You might as well if only to eliminate variables. There are some fancy lads here who can point you in the right direction if you help them help you. :)

Yeah if you have to have the HD tone the Bean is the thing my man. The case for it is pretty cushy too with the flip side for cable and PS storage.

Man its a toughie as you are probably going in through the front end and not an effects loop, right? Don't have a 65 Verb so I don't have knowledge of that other than it sounds great with only a TS pedal in front when I tried one decades ago. For S&Gs find an amp with an fx loop and try going into the fx in (watch the volume on the HD as it will bypass the amp's pre) or try out a powered PA speaker. That usually gives examples of what the HD can do in case you are getting frustrated and want to kick it. :) There have been a few threads here on how to go about front ending - dial the amp as clean as possible, try studio direct for output mode (or one of the others - some people like them too). Going into the front end of an amp can hit the amp's pre-pretty hard too and cause extra drive so you might have to also make sure that isn't happening.

Line6 - We are the helpful-tongues. Please take care of us!

You mean its not lemon? :D -
Love the Trio myself and I like the new firmware for a "sane" bass line. :) Mixer: I believe the poster is referring to a PA mixer. Can't help much with the cabling - I'm using the HD Bean -> Trio-> D-Tech Jamman. Creating some loops to save (and pretty much screwing around).

Alternative Power Supply XT Live
BillBee replied to spkenn5's topic in POD 2.0, POD XT, Pocket POD, FloorPODs
Dude, its your XT it may run fine it may not with the incorrect PS. If you want to roll the dice its your choice, the DC-3g is for the HD and who is to say using it incorrectly won't fry that PS as well. Just bite the bullet and find the right one. -
It looks right but I don't the HD here. Just watch the levels so things are not blasting. I generally don't use the 4cm so I have to sketch things out on paper first.

HD500 Pilot's Guide page 11 for putting the FX loop in a block. Guitar->HD->L out to amp in-> amp fx send -> HD FX in, HD FX out -> Amp fx in. Should work. :)

Nope, the HD PS won't work. Read the specs on your XT PS and try to match it from a local source if you can't find a OM one. -
Pod Farm 2 Isnt picking my mic!
BillBee replied to JakeJaeger121's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Hey Man, First: Try a different USB port - L6 stuff hates usb hubs. Then a different usb cable - they do go bad. Then, Uninstall everything. Reinstall the latest version of Monkey. Go through the driver install and make sure all is green ticked = good. Open PF make sure UX2 is authorized for PF2 not PF1. UX2 => phantom power button in for condenser mic. Turn gain knob on unit up. Fire up PF and make sure mic is selected. Note: button off then plug mic in. Button off again prior to removing mic. The are some other settings in the PC too but hopefully the above will fix it. That "may" solve it. I "think" the giant 8000000000000002 code has to do with a communication error between the UX and the PC. Either Unit, Cable or Driver. I know, I know... Bill :D -
In the end this exercise is fairly pointless unless you go read up on the manuals then go try them out yourself, preferably with your gear or similar. You take home what made you go "Ooooo" and after "the honey-moon" is over you will find + and - and end up getting both and then selling one. Just MHO not a criticism btw. -B

Go to the top of this page -> Support and shoot a Support Ticket in to L6. Who knows - if its used I would guess the old owner didn't unregister it.

I am not sure how much help this will be to you but............... I have used the HD Conversion prog to go from the HDX to the HD many many many times. Going from the X the Non X might face a prob with DSP but in your case there would be no issue. Not sure about transferring a whole set list but patch by patch would work.

FBV Shortboard Mkii - POD HD Desktop
BillBee replied to Jasipi's topic in FBV Controllers (MKI / MKII / 3)
Cool Dude, one tip is to make yourself some template patches with settings and assigns you normally use. Then you can load the template add what you need and save under a different name. :) -

I had to go look at the manual to make sure :) The HD Advanced Guide page 3-7 will point you in the right direction. You can assign additional blocks to a FS page B-19. Its a good manual. -

Its how I use it to setup the patches with the FBV - HD Edit -> save. There probably is a on board assign procedure somewhere in the manual. -
Dieter is the man for those, I really have to just order the parts and do it. I don't like the word lazy I prefer conservative. :)

Fire up HD Edit and go into the assigns and set them up there.
