  1. You can copy/paste blocks between presets. I have a preset saved not for playing, but for saving all my "favorite" blocks in so I can copy and paste them in other presets.
  2. Get the Helix and try. You can incorporate your Timeline and others with the Helix if you feel they are necessary.
  3. I have a feeling Google Translate may have failed the original poster.
  4. I may be wrong, but I don't think Firehawk has an on board IR loader.
  5. Not a deal breaker for me, but they could definitely utilize those switches for more.
  6. Helix does not have a power amp. The amp models in Helix are just a digital representation of the real thing, and do not provide an amplified signal to power a speaker cabinet. You will need some sort of power amp to drive your speaker cabinet from Helix.
  7. That is just a foot switch for instrument signals. The only external kind of control you can use for the looper would be an external midi switcher/pedal to send the appropriate midi commands to Helix.
  8. I had an old Crate combo amp that had a pretty sad tone. I don't think I would want to simulate it on my Helix though.
  9. Can you post a pic of your Helix screen and describe what you are changing with snapshots?
  10. How did you go out from Helix to the Zoom?
  11. You will need a load box. Never send a signal from an amp speaker out to the Helix. You will release the magic smoke from your Helix if you do.
  12. ^this^ The Helix operates just like real pedals, with the added function of snaps. If the pedal volume is a parameter you are changing with snapshots, just save the snap before going to the next snap. If it is not a parameter being changed by snaps, then it is "global" within the preset and nothing else has to be done. Just tweak, save the preset, and you are good to go.
  13. ^That is the issue for sure ^
  14. No mention of amber or magenta in the manual. http://line6.com/data/6/0a06434d12857507f3d1e7c1ab/application/pdf/Relay%20G30%20Pilot's%20Guide%20-%20English%20(%20Rev%20K%20).pdf
  15. That would probably work. The base unit just needs 5 vdc for power.
  16. Check your cables first, then if you still have an issue, open a support ticket with Line 6. Make sure you register your Helix online with Line 6 first.
  17. NICE! Posted today. http://line6.com/support/topic/28338-register-helix-for-a-free-second-year-of-warranty/
  18. Aux is an instrument input, so that won't work for you. I would just continue using your small mixer for your IEM.
  19. Yeah, that is what I mean't, but I couldn't remember the terminology. I looked last night and I leave the master on 10, and adjust the "channel volume" that is usually on the first page of the amp parameters on knob 6. Thanks for mentioning it though, because those two are very different things.
  20. Try the ground lift switch on the Helix to see if that does anything for you.
  21. And after you are connected to your favorite amp with the 4 cable method, you can connect to two powered FRFR PA speakers via XLRs, so you can have Wet in stereo, giving you a full wet/dry/wet system.
  22. I just put my reverbs and stereo delays after the cab/IR block instead of before it, just as if you were to add reverb and/or delay post processing in the studio. Everything before and including the cab/IR is mono, then the stereo reverb/delay after that "transforms" it to stereo.
  23. Try that first since that is what you are used to. You can then experiment. Switch up the order, run delay/reverb in parallel, etc... That's the beauty of Helix, you just move the blocks around in the simulated signal paths.
  24. Take the DI from the amp to one of the returns on the Helix. Then you can set input of one of the signal paths in Helix for the return the DI is plugged into. Then you have the DI signal on a separate signal path so you can add a cab block, effects, and run to the Altos.
