If you have some patches that don't have your mic going through a path, how does the sound get through the helix to the PA?
  2. I run my Helix floor in front of my THR10 and use the flat setting since the floor unit has amp sims. Works great and I'm sure it would work well with HX Effects using the THR10 onboard amps.
  3. Try turning it anti-counterclockwise until it clicks 1/2 times and then push pedal 17.
  4. Worth it, sounds authentic, support is easy to find here in this forum and others online and youtube and Line 6 tech support is the best I've dealt with.
  5. From DI post on the gearpage: benifin said: ↑ From a model/feature perspective, it's pretty minor—the clean channels are probably the biggest deal. Lots of bug fixes tho'.
  6. How do they get everything to sync up? Isn't there latency over the internet?

    AUX IN usage

possible to apply all effect and presets? -YES or these are only for guitar input? -NO, available for all/any inputs there are a switch guitar/aux? or they are both active? -Both, you can choose which you want to have active, or both.
  8. But he shouldn't need to. This is a simple routing issue. Curious to hear if you fixed it?
  9. Just wanted to say that I wish you could do this sort of thing without take up a signal path. I'd love to run my mic through the helix and only use a path for it in patches that add effects to the vocal signal.
  10. You definitely don't need a Focusrite or any other interface. The Helix is an interface itself and this should be very easy to solve. You probably have the output block on the Helix set to Multi (symbol is an Arrow I think). Try changing this to 1/4" only, I think the symbol is a circle inside a Hexagon. Multi output mean that the guitar is going to the headphones and to your computer on USB tracks 1/2. Changing it to 1/4" will hopefully just send it to your headphones and shouldn't affect the sound from Spotify.
  11. I think he already is monitoring through his Helix using headphones, so he probably hears the guitar direct from the Helix, followed by the guitar going through the PC with latency and sounding like an echo. He needs to mute or otherwise cut off the guitar signal coming back from the PC (but not the background music).
  12. I'd be less frustrated with waiting for the Line 6 tech and appreciative that they helped you figure out an issue with your PC connections, totally unrelated to the Helix. Echo/latency means you are monitoring through your PC. The guitar signal is going into your Helix, up to your PC , back to the Helix and out the headphones. You need to change something in your setup so it mutes that path so you only hear Spotify, etc from your PC and the guitar directly from the Helix.
  13. IRs are available to provide off axis mics, why put time into improving the stock cabs?
  14. I'm not, I haven't been able to get it to sound good at all.
  15. BS, you're saying they purposely throttle the loop time so people don't have trouble using effects and the looper together? Maybe I'm misunderstanding. FWIW loop time is sufficient for me, altgough longer would definitely be desired.
  16. Hoping for some polyphonic updates including improvements to existing pitch shift effects. Definitely my number 1 is to improve the whammy.
  17. Are you possibly routing the USB input through effect blocks on the Helix?

    detune

    On this forum?

Whoa whoa whoa... where did you see this?!!
  20. The answer is no, so what I would do is use a gain block to create your path B. You either bypass the block to do what you are trying to do (no effects on path b), or use the gain block to balance volumes.
  21. I think you're going to need to describe what's happening a little better if you want help.
  22. Definitely too much effort to read, let alone do just to use a forum. New users won't go to the trouble and neither will I.
