  1. don't thing that'd be possible without increasing the required DSP, which reduces the number of things you can run.... not a problem for some... but i can hear many crying over such a change.
  2. I don't know of anyway to verify the firmware without a computer.... i could probably hear the difference between the old acoustics and the new acoustics and tell, but no way to pass that on to you.
  3. the email notifications are not yet working for the new forum software.... they are aware and working on the issue.
  4. couldnt tell from the question if he just wanted to activate or deactive them with a single stomp....
  5. if it's a netbook they've stated that they do not support resolutions that small... and from the screenshot your resolution is incredibly small... 4 vertical desktop icons... yikes... your best hope if you insist on using the netbook is a third party non-line6 solution for your computer.
  6. i think the answers no, unless you have a pod HD, but what device do you have? someone may be able to give you a better answer based on that info.
  7. pod farm plugin, is really too latent for realtime just record the dry and the wet, and make tweaks in post. its the same tone capability either way so why complicate it?
  8. be sure to try the rear usb ports, i'd also recommend getting the drivers for your interface directly from the manufacturer if there is one (generic usb/midi only has generic OS drivers) trying a different computer, or downloading and flashing from the file might help as well.
  9. that's not normal, I'd try reflashing the firmware or updating if you've not done so.
  10. what resolution are you using? it's unlikely to change though... (been that way for previous editors gearbox/edit and for years on the HD) submit the request though you never know. http://line6.com/company/contact/productfeedback/
  11. perhaps the UX1 itself had the license you are expecting... if the UX1 came with the license, then you don't own it and never have... the UX1 owned it and if the UX1 dies so does the license. however if you bought it seperately use the license manager part of monkey.... you can surely use pod farm 1.x either way...
  12. it is just that simple... the buttons will change to preset ABCD on the bank currently selected. hold down any button to engage the tuner... and pushing on the toe of the expression will change it from volume to wah control.... no further instructions that that really.... as far as the xt goes... do not plug in the usb and the fbv at the same time... won't work... you don't need usb for using with the xt.
  13. you can't open an x3/xt bundle without having an x3/xt attached... unlike the newer pod hd software, gearbox and line6 edit do not have an offline mode.
  14. No, the internal information is not accessible to anyone outside of Line6. however, if you contact line6 they can confirm the status of your individual serial number/numbers.
  15. not the actual paper/overlay that came with the amp... but here's the preset's Line6-Spider_Amp_Presets.pdf
  16. at last word, October 21, 2015 that's when Marty Mcfly will be bringing it after he's done researching vintage tones from November 5, 1955
  17. i sent my combo in without the cabinet... just remove the speaker wire, and the 4 screws on top, slide it out... remove and pack tubes... send just the head... saves on shipping. I did this on the advice of line6... seems like it would certainly reduce the likeliness of damage as well.
  18. that setlist was created by Nick Mattocks, who sadly left us. http://line6.com/support/topic/213-never-forgotten/
  19. Mobile in does not work with androids... not even sure how you would plug it in....
  20. I don't disagree but in my line of work it's often not about agreeing etc. sometimes it's just about finding a path forward. I was only trying to be helpful.
  21. the acoustic models are the same... if the firmware is the same... no telling what version you heard before... the modeled sounds are identical for all JTV's *IF* they have the same firmware version.
  22. i found this logo in the store for 10$ https://www.globalfulfillment.net/gfsnet/line6/10Expand.aspx?ProductCode=30-60-0007 it's a similar looking cab logo rather than the amp logo... anyway... just saying you might see if you can get a user in the USA to buy it and send it to you... probably be a little markup involved, since line6 shipping will cost, and then shipping to you on top of it... but if you use something like paypal you could probably make that happen.
  23. monkey 1.12 sounds really old... you probably need to manually update monkey. the latest is 1.62
