Missing Amps In Pod Xt Live, Not The Usual Problem
Triryche replied to Laer's topic in POD 2.0, POD XT, Pocket POD, FloorPODs
Does your account show licenses for the model packs missing? 2 of 4 just means with the new license manager you can share licenses you paid for on up to 4 devices simultaneously. -
Do you get both tones through headphones connected to the X3?

Pod Studio Ux1 Installation
Triryche replied to Jorj_X_McKie's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
You can select Instrument, Mic, or Line in POD Farm. Or if you are not using POD Farm you can select it in the Line6 Audio-MIDI control Panel. There may be a shortcut on your desktop or you can go to: Programs>>Line6>>Tools>>Line6 Audio-MIDI Devices -
You could start a poll and see if most want it back. You can even submit an official request, things that rise to the top Line6 takes a very close look at. http://line6.ideascale.com/a/ideafactory.do?id=23508&mode=recent&discussionFilter=active

Reaper Says "no Asio Drivers Found!"
Triryche replied to gunpointmetal's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
Are you saying in Reaper's preferences, for devices, ASIO POD HD 500 isn't even listed? -
The easiest thing to do is connect it to the net just to get the current version and authorize it. You should only have to do it once.

How are you monitoring the sound?

Question: Pod X3 Live With Tube Amp Without Efx Loop
Triryche replied to eliza_vongeist's topic in POD X3
Try the different "What are you connected to" options. Also make sure the switch on the back is on AMP and try adjusting the level next to the Line/AMP switch. -
Reaper Says "no Asio Drivers Found!"
Triryche replied to gunpointmetal's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
Do you have a specific need for ASIO4ALL? I personally would completely remove ASIO4ALL until you resolve the situation. Also try manually disabling any other audio devices and selecting the POD HD 500 as your default device. BTW, can POD HD 500 Edit communicate with your POD HD 500? -
Toneport Ux2 Does Not Want To Open On My Imac
Triryche replied to marcenciels's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Try POD Farm 1.12, it is a free upgrade from Gearbox. Download the Latest version of Monkey to assist. Note: POD Farm 2.5 is not a free upgrade. http://line6.com/software/ -

Just for clarification, if you run Monkey you have green ticks for everything? If you create a new project in Reaper do you get the same symptom? -
Pod Studio Ux1 Installation
Triryche replied to Jorj_X_McKie's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
If you use POD Farm, you will need to select Line 1 or Line 2 or both instead of Instrument or Mic. To bypass POD Farm you would select Line 1 or Line 2 or both in the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel. Can your computer see the Zoom as a USB storage device? If so you should be able to drag and drop the recordings directly into Reaper (and possible Audacity). By default I think Zoom records as a .WAV file. -
Pod Studio Ux1 Installation
Triryche replied to Jorj_X_McKie's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
Are you trying to record without POD Farm? If so, you need to select the inputs in the Line6 Audio-MIDI Devices control panel, there should be a shortcut on the desk top or you can find it under: Start>>Programs>>Line6>>Tools This will only pass the unprocessed signal. As for Audacity, it does not support ASIO drivers due to Stienberg licensing, but there is a way to compile it with ASIO drivers. http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=ASIO_Audio_Interface I personally would give Reaper a try. It is free to try and the full (non-commercial) version is only ~$60. IMHO it has a huge bang for your buck. -
I'm assuming there is room for chords in the back. The reason I mention this is the POD HD has a S/PDIF and trim knob protruding from the back on the right.

Need Help With Pod Farm And My Pod Ux2
Triryche replied to jacksonpro's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
The only thing I can think of is what Zap suggested. Make sure you have your Windows updates, especially concerning C++ Completely uninstall POD Farm 1 and 2 and all Line6 drivers using the Line6 uninstall utility found in the Line6 Folder Tools folder. Start>>Programs>>Line6>>Tools Download and run newest Monkey and start from scratch. http://line6.com/software/ Also try disabling any firewalls and anti-virus pogroms during installation and authorization. Also try a different USB chord. Is there another computer you can try it on? And submit a support ticket. -
Poor Audio Recordings With My Line 6 Pod Ux1
Triryche replied to sidguitarrist's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Are you saying what you play sounds good but the recording does not? Check what you are sending to Cubase in POD Farm's mixer view. You can send dry, processed, or semi-processed? Also make sure you are using ASIO UX1 as you device in Cubase. -
Pod Studio Ux1 Installation
Triryche replied to Jorj_X_McKie's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
There are drivers for Windows 8, but obviously some users are having issues. Please run the Line6 Monkey to make sure everything is current. As for the slap back, if you are hearing it twice it is usually because you have "monitoring" enabled in your DAW, in which case you are hearing the latency caused by the DAW. Also, I think I have seen some people say Win8 does not disable the internal sound, so that my cause some conflict. Line6 does not really monitor the forums, so if the community can not resolve your issue please submit a ticket. I know it is a PIA, but the more people that submit tickets the better chance there is of Line6 figuring out the root cause. http://line6.com/support/tickets/ When I get a chance I am going to test my UX2 on Win8, but not sure when that will happen. -

Guitar In Fl Using Ux2 And Pod Farm 2
Triryche replied to viktorlarsson's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Not sure exactly where to select the audio device Fl. In the POD Farm mixer view there are sends 1-2 and 3-4, you can determine what is sent, dry, processed, or semi processed. For recording and hearing POD Farm in real-time you would launch the standalone PF from the desktop. For the plug-in you would launch it within your Fl. -
Guitar In Fl Using Ux2 And Pod Farm 2
Triryche replied to viktorlarsson's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Run Monkey to make sure everything is current. You need to select Line6 ASIO UX2 as you device in FL. Then connect you speakers, studio monitors, or headphones directly to the UX2, it becomes your soundcard. Then in the POD Farm mixer view configure what is sent to FL. A typical workflow is to capture both wet and dry and then add the POD Farm plugin to the dry post processing. -
