Don't spread rumours: They are shipping worldwide. http://www.thomann.de/gb/helpdesk_shipping.html?country=USA

...sarcasm and irony too... It's really getting late - sorry, my Helix has no clock ;)
-
Agreed ;) And I use it that way. You can have literally two different instruments: 2 Different sounds, 2 different tunings (even simultaneously)... Whereas one 'channel' is (always) 'magnetic', of course.
-
Right! And you can use these 2 'channels' simultaneously and alternatively. And "then you could have a acoustic exiting one path and a full blown metal tone out the other" :)

Clever, cool, and/or elegant stand solutions for Helix

I have this one: http://www.gibraltarhardware.com/product/gems/ Solid. -
Thank you for your research - waiting for your next report!
-
Thanks again for your thread (and I do hope that this troll guy finally gives up :P )!
-
How much did you pay? (Sorry, just a bad joke ;) ) Anyway, if you're too 'shy' to play a song, record and share just a few notes (slowly) - maybe this would be even better to analyze the (faulty?) sound...
-
THANK YOU so much! Great for doing a printout (without the information that has been linked otherwise).

So you'd better start a new thread: "I'm finally happy"!

Maybe an ideascale which will be constantly maintained? Oops, existing and working?! Ok then, maybe a daily newsletter? Private phone numbers at least ?!
-
??? Obviously not...
-
So do I...

Congrats :D

OK, you are on a inconsistent, continuous loop now (Helix sound is good, but you don't like it... You like your GNX4, but it's too bright)... Save your money and buy something (else) - or, if you don't like it you can lump it. Man, you already gave back your Helix - and now you sing like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owS7Cn2iKcY

1.Download Helix Application v1.04 here: http://line6.com/software/index.html 2.Install all of its components (including drivers, updater and helix application) 3. Download Helix Firmware v1.06.5 4. Use the (previously installed) updater to load that .hxf file (that's the firmware, actually) into helix. Done.

Cool idea! What about recorder, bagpipes and triangle IR's :D ?
-
For the moment, you have to do it the 'hard way', I believe... http://line6.com/support/topic/17235-question-about-saving-irs-in-helix-app-export-dont-save-in-order/?hl=ir%26%2339%3Bs Maybe this will be easier with the new editor (at the end of this month)...
-
Thanks, again - something for the shortcut list (or trick box)! Please somebody add it to http://helixhelp.com/pmwiki.php

I know a bunch of us want the editor, but I'm anticipating new firmware!!!

Ok. I guess we made our points. I prefer less but solid updates. I don't want to be 'constantly' online (with my equipment or DAW or whatever). And it makes no sense to me to compare any update frequencies (between different products - of different manufactures), sorry. I hate 'alarm plings and rings' everywhere - I want to play - guitar, in the first place ;) ! -

If I had to choose between tons of updates and decent stability, I'd always take the latter. The mere quantity of updates is not a sign of quality to me (there are enough toys out there). I wanted a professional gear with professional support. -
Thanks - right now I found that shortcut in the manual ;) Has anybody listed all these shortcuts already?
-
Checked it with the Knopfler preset, too. You're right: 'Unmodeled' JTV 69 (S 3TS) sounds like a F-Strat with these presets :) ! Thanks again...

There's a little restriction concerning the XLR's... http://line6.com/support/topic/19022-xlr-noise/?do=findComment&comment=142456
