You didn't really specify what wasn't working for you. I tried to get as much info as I could into this screenshot. What you're looking at is two recorded tracks. The processed track is Track 1, the reamp (unprocessed track) is Track 2. I've recorded both tracks while listening to the Helix (not the DAW) through my Amp (direct monitoring). The track configuration is such that if I were to press the spacebar recording (with direct monitoring) would start on Track 1 (overwriting the previous recording) while listening to Track 2 on the speakers. Note the Info box in the lower left corner. Between the two tracks' configurations you should be able to record processed and/or unprocessed and playback either or both.

The Captor won't sound bad because of needing to use the track monitoring, that's just the facts of life, and it's not the same as having it on when live monitoring through the Stomp, which causes an echo effect due to the latency of the signal through the DAW. Also, keep in mind that you lose live control of effects and snapshots unless you buy a MIDI Controller. If I recall, you have a Scarlett 2i2, and that doesn't have MIDI. So there's another upgrade you'll need. Again, bad move all around. Keep your Stomp.

This is a bad plan. You're introducing latency all over the place, and tethering yourself to a computer. Keep the Stomp. Learn how to use it. Getting a tube amp is NOT a shortcut to your perfect tone. Don't misunderstand. I have a tube amp, which I sometimes like to use with the Stomp as pre/post effects. As was intended by the makers. Just for kicks, I tried this. I put a Red Squeeze (with Sensitivity MIN/MAX set to 7.5/2.5) after a 2204 and sent it a momentary toggling CC from my FCB like a kick. Sounds like it's doing what OP asked, and the lag is not (to my ears) detectable. I also tried it with the FCB's Exp Pedal, same settings, and that seemed to work too. Maybe I don't really understand side-chaining a compressor?

If you want to keep your speakers connected to the Scarlett and have the Helix be removable from the system without re-cabling, you can either use the Outs from the Stomp into the Scarlett, using the Scarlett as Soundcard, or you can use both Stomp and Scarlett by creating an "aggregate device": https://music.tutsplus.com/tutorials/quick-tip-use-multiple-audio-interfaces-on-mac-os-x--audio-9095 I'm not a MAC guy so I can't say how well it works, maybe some of the MAc users here will chime in.....

If your MIDI "trigger" is a CC with a variable value between 0-127 (like using an expression pedal), then you might be able to assign it to whatever the required parameter of the compressor you're using is called (I'm not a compression expert). If the trigger is just an ON/OFF CC toggle then you can try setting MIN/MAX Values for that parameter. Combined with Attack/Release settings that might do it. Worth a try.

Replace the OH IRs with similar Helix models (close as you can get). If the waveform doesn't change, attach a copy of the preset (using Helix cabs). Maybe someone can figure out what you're doing wrong.

If the noise is coming from your PC ITSELF, with Helix NOT connected via USB, how could the problem be the Helix? Are the speakers connected to Helix, or are you using the PC sound card for the speakers? If your speakers are connected to the PC, disconnect them and connect them to your Helix.

Global Settings>Ins/Outs USB 1/2 Destination = XLR. That gets your DAW Output into Helix and out to your mixer/speakers/headphones. In your Preset send your Outs to 1/4" to your amp. You probably want to set the BIG KNOB to control the XLRs, so your amp gets an independent level. Take USB 1/2 out of Helix for recording processed guitar, USB 7/8 for unprocessed (for re-amping).

In Global Settings>Preferences set Snapshot Edits to RECALL.

If you have other external stompboxes that you want to integrate with your Stomp, it's a popular choice. As a pure MIDI controller it's a costly solution, and not all that much more powerful than other, smaller choices, such as: https://www.morningstarfx.com/

Also, consider that the FCB1010 can only address 100 of the 128 presets available on your Stomp. By the time you get the Sanpshots and 5 buttons programmed, you're down to 90. And, while it does have two expression pedals, they are not well known for accuracy, and there's no toe switches. The FCB1010 is, however, nigh on indestructible.....

Yes, but keep in mind that it is a VERY big unit. That said, If you decide to get one (they're usually available used for <>$100US), I can send you a configuration file for using it with the Stomp.

Another thing to look at is the Path 2A/2B Split. The signal is running equally through 2B AND directly past 2B to the output. At the split, pan both A and B hard right and at the mixer take Path A down to -60db to eliminate that bypass. As for Native, it's a resource hungry VST. If you haven't already, optimize your system per the following: Disable wireless adapter!!! Power settings on HIGH PERFORMANCE. Turn off all sleep settings. Turn off Windows sounds and special effects. Disable any unnecessary audio drivers in Sound Panel. You've got two other people here saying they have no such problem, so that can't be it. Have you tried your USB cable in different ports? What computer exactly are you using? Can you connect with HX Edit?

In Reaper, try switching devices (anything other than Helix ASIO). Close and re-start Reaper, then switch back to the Helix ASIO.. I'm apparently not privileged to receive 2004 yet, so I can't comment directly until I get it, but I'd be very surprised if your problem was caused by the Windows update, though anything is possible. Meantime, if the above doesn't work, check that all of your other drivers, including MoBo drivers, are up to date.

In case that wasn't clear, it creates a Toggle between the Katana Pre and the Stomp Pre/Amp.

To replace the Katana Pre with a Stomp amp/pre, just set the Loop and Amp blocks to the same footswitch, saved one ON one OFF. If this interferes with the RC30, then put it on the other loop. It'll still output from the 1/4" L/MONO connected to the Katana FX Return.

I compared settings between the active blocks in the Monument Clean Preset and the related Snapshot in ATCAT. The settings of the Pitch Wham are different. Likewise for Tesseract, the settings on the Particle Verb are different. There may be other differences, those are the ones I found right away. You need to go in and compare the settings block by block.
