Snapshots don't change presets, they just change settings within a preset, so you're either not understanding how snapshots work or not explaining it well.

I don't get what you mean that it won't let you record any new parts? The signal goes from your guitar into the Stomp, out to the RC30, back to the Stomp, then out to the Katana. To record new parts you press the proper buttons on the RC30 at the proper times. If what you mean is that when you want to record a new part with a different preset that you have to set up with an FX Loop like the first one, well, yeah, that's how it works. You COULD (using only MONO effects) use a proper external mixer, like a cheapie Behringer Onyx502. Send the L/MONO from the stomp to one channel, and the Right out through the RC30 to another channel, then on the mixer pan both channels to one side and take that out to the Katana. That way you could use any (MONO) preset you want on the Stomp.

Those DL'd as Monuments, ATCAT and Tesseract, so I'm not sure which is which in your sound samples, and since you're using IRs (in ATCAT) that I probably don't have, they'll sound a bit different anyway. I have a 3Sigma ACE DZ 212 in that position, so I left it on that. Nice sounding presets BTW. I played them through my Powercab on the FRFR setting. All the unnamed snapshots in Monuments and Tesseract sound the same. All the named Snapshots in ATCAT sound different, as expected. Maybe I'm missing your point? Which of your sound samples are which presets?

Take a 1/4" shielded cable from the Stomp's FX Send to the RC30 Input, another from the The RC30 Output to the Stomp L/MONO Return. Then put a "FX Loop L" Block in the signal chain where you want the RC30. That's it. Leave the rest of your wiring as is. If you want to mix the level of the RC30 and your guitar just pull the FX Loop Block down into a parallel path and adjust the levels at the Mixer Block (dot).

You have TWO FX Loops......maybe if you described EXACTLY how you have it configured, and what you want to change?

What they sound like isn't nearly as helpful for troubleshooting as copies of the actual presets.

Since having backup copies of files in a separate location is a basic rule of using computers, this (exporting to HD) is a good habit to get into anyway.

MID Host is not a thing, you need a USB Host. Just because it transmits MIDI over USB does not make it a USB Host. Your computer is a USB Host. I'm pretty sure that your Zoom is not a USB Host either. 1024/2048 refers to the length of the IR. It's generally thought that the audio information contained in the longer IR contributes little to the the sound. 2048 also uses more resources (DSP). Get your headphones. Try one of each, on a clean amp and a high gain amp. What do you think? Is it worth the extra DSP?

Using Helix LT as AI gives you the most options UNLESS you need MIC Input (should've got the Floor). Or you could get a MIC pre and run it into a Helix Return. If you want to keep your monitors permanently attached to the system and be able to pull out the Helix without re-cabling, then use the Solo as AI. All depends on your needs, which will probably change over time. You may want to consider upgrading to a 6i6 for future expansion.

That's only true if you use MONO effects. Path A panned Left (and Path B panned Right) at both Split and Mixer completely isolates the two paths, and stereo effects after the Mixer remain isolated. However, if you want different effects on each amp then yes, of course that would be true. If only one of the amps is changing, then you're either missing something in the panning levels or there's something happening with the effects you're using specifically on that path. Have a look at the Mix parameters in devices that come before that reverb. In either case, you could just set it up so that when you activate the second reverb you compensate with a level setting somewhere in that path. The joy of being able to assign more than one device parameter to a single switch or snapshot.

OK, I don't have an HXFX (Floor and Stomp), but since none of the HXFX guys are responding, I'll take a crack at it. That usually inspires somebody who knows better to jump in. We'll see. Your wiring looks fine. Instead of using a stereo FX Loop, use two MONO FX Loops. Pull one down to create a parallel path - FX Loop 1 on Path A (left amp) and FX Loop 2 on Path B (right Amp). At the Split AND at the Mixer, Pan Path A hard Left and Pan Path B hard Right. Use only Stereo Effects after that.

What hardware are you using - processor, RAM, HD, that stuff? EDIT: also, what are you using as an Audio Interface?

You got it. A mono block after a stereo block collapses the signal to mono.

I've never been able to find it. I can tell you that if latency matters, the Scarlett has better latency than Helix. I don't have a Clarett so IDK about it's latency vs Scarlett. Ask their support, they have always been prompt and helpful when I've contacted them with questions. As for a DI comparison, I doubt you'll glean much of value from that, I'd stick to the actual published specs.

In case you've forgotten what "ridiculous assertion" means, your statement implies that no one has ever backed off to allow a solo, and I can't prove otherwise.
