  1. You might try finding the directory where the POD Farm VST's are stored and moving the non-64 bit ones to somewhere Cubase cannot find them.
  2. Interesting that there has been such little response to this. Looks like 3 users cast votes including me. Is that indicative of how few users Pro Tools take the PODFarm plug-in's seriously? I'd be interested in other's takes on this subject . . .
  3. Hey folks . . . The latest version of Pro Tools has dropped support for RTAS, in favor of their AAX plug-in format, thus leaving POD Farm users out in the cold. I've created a short poll to see if there is anyone else out there who would like to have an options available for POD Farm HD and/or AAX support. 'Just curious . . .
  4. I sold my X3L within a few weeks of getting my HD500 and never looked back. They both sounded really good, but the HD500 sounded better to my ears.
  5. Also, make sure you are using a USB 2.0 post. Many of the newer computers (like mine) come with a ton of USB 3.0 ports, but only a few USB 2.0 ports. I was having a similar difficulty until I switched ports. I don't know if this will solve your issue, but it's worth a try.
  6. Hmm . . . Have you made sure you have the latest drivers?
  7. No, you cannot use the DI on the DT25/50 without a speaker load. Well you can, but you'll burn out the amp. The output section is pushing wattage even if you are using the DI. Sorry. To second what Zap said, the DI emulations coming out of the DT are pretty much that same as what is coming out of the HD500, with a maybe touch of the output section mixed in. Unless you are playing alone on stage, no one will notice the difference in the mix except you.
  8. Try a reinstall. Since you already have the drivers installed, skip that part by deselecting them. I'm running Win 8 and both PF 1.12 & PF2.55 are working fine. 3.5GHz i7 quad core.
  9. Download Monkey directly from here http://line6.com/software and do the install. You might have more success. Sometimes installing software from inside of Monkey doesn't work well.
  10. I would think line input. Try them both to see which gives you the better results.
  11. There were several FW revs to the XTL. You might want to make sure that they are both at the same patch rev.
  12. Try recording a dry track in Pro Tools, without the POD Farm Plug-In, using your MBox-2. Is it recording properly? Let's concentrate on one element at a time.
  13. Considering that the amps used by POD Farm are totally different from the ones used by the HD150, I would sat it's pretty much not possible.
  14. In my experience, GC & MF both have a nasty habit of shipping returns and restocks. I do not disagree about some of the QC issues that Line 6 has had as well. I would either purchase one at a store where you can inspect the build first, or purchase from a retailer, such as Sweetwater, that will inspect the guitar before it's shipped if you ask.
  15. The Direct Recording Outputs should do the trick. The headphone out could work as well. Make sure that you have the Line-Ins selected as your inputs in POD Farm From the SJ manual . . . Output Routing for RCA Jacks You can choose what signals are sent to the RCA jacks on the back of the unit: • Press the Tone / Settings button three times to show the additional functions. • Turn the Select knob to highlight Output Routing. • Press Right on the 4-way button. • To have everything come out of both Spider Jam’s on-board speakers and the RCA jacks, turn the Select knob to select Normal. • To have the Guitar come out of Spider Jam’s 12-inch speaker and everything else come out of the RCA jacks, turn the Select knob to select Performance.
  16. Sorry, no. The X3 series comes fully loaded with all of the amps that are available for that series. Since Line 6 has moved on to the HD series, I do not expect that you'll see anything new for X3.
  17. I'm assuming that you've paid for a Reaper license. I'm not sure how to get hold of them by phone, but if you haven't already, you should send an email to support@cockos.com
  18. Odd . . . Reaper shows my HD500 as an option even when I don't have it attached to my PC.
  19. Have you contacted the support folks at Reaper? This sounds like more of a Reaper issue than a Line 6 driver issue.
  20. It's not the same power supply that comes with the JTV Variax though. The X3L is 2000mA 9v AC, the JTV Variax is 1000mA 12v DC. They are not compatible.
  21. I'm pretty much a plain vanilla type player. It's nice that the alt tunings are there, but I don't use them.
