  1. Personally, for me, the best results have come from micing the cab and forgetting about the DT25's XLR out.
  2. There is no automatic way to filter them, but if you go to the "Preset View" tab, you can right click on a preset and select "Remove From Library"
  3. With ASIO you do not select the output. The output and input device is the same. Make sure that your HD Pro is connected and turned on before running FL Studio. You can also find the latest drivers here http://line6.com/software
  4. The newer PC's all come with USB 3 ports. Line 6 stuff doesn't like USB 3. Make sure you are plugging into a USB 2.0 port.
  5. Have you tried it with a different PC? Basic troubleshooting is to eliminate all possibilities, one at a time. If it works with a different PC, then the trouble is with your PC setup. If it doesn't work with another PC, then the problem is the XT.
  6. While the HD500X has plenty of amp and effect sims, it does not have a built in amplifier to power a set of speakers. The DT25 amp is a perfect companion. When you use it with a HD500 the DT will use the HD500's modeling, and match the power stage to the amp model.
  7. POD farm has the same sims as POD XT/X3, except they are somewhat higher fidelity. Think AmpliFi, not HD.
  8. Also, make sure you are not trying to connect to a USB3 port. I've had mostly bad experience with those and legacy USB 1.1 and USB 2 devices. They may look like they are connected, but they don't function properly.
  9. Also, try running Monkey as an Administrator
  10. You only need the iPAD for editing your patches. Once you have your patches set up and arranged to your satisfaction, you do not need to use the iPAD.
  11. Run Line 6 Monkey, and you can do the update from there :)
  12. Yes, you can use the an FBV Express or Shortboard MkII pedal to control the Amplifi 150.
  13. The Amplifi FX100 is not a controller for the Amplifi 150. It is more in line with stomp boards like the HD500.
  14. The best way to use the plug-in is to record the dry signal and use the plug-in as a post record FX. To record the wet signal, you'll need to use the POD Farm stand-alone application.
  15. Unfortunately, the Gearbox plug-in is no longer supported. I do not expect that Line 6 will be releasing any updates for it. The current supported plug-in product is POD Farm 2.5.
  16. To the left of the "Rec" options you should see an "INPUT:" drop down.
  17. Go into the Mixer tab in PF2 and select "Mic" as the input.
  18. When you plug it in, and the drivers are loaded, the dials should light up yellow. Try going into the POD Farm 1.12 app and set the inputs to MIC1 and MIC2. Also make sure that you have phantom power turned on if you are using condenser mics.
  19. You'll need to connect cables from the analog outs from the UX2 to the AUX in on your computer
  20. Yes, if you use the Line 6 VDI cable, the JTV59 will draw it's power from the HD500, and the battery is not necessary in that case.
  21. 1. There is no driver for POD 2.0 2. DO NOT use the cables that Tinyfireball suggested. Most users that are having problems are using those cables. They do not work 100% of the time. Use something reliable, like M-Audio MIDISport Uno. 3. Connect the POD 2.0 via MIDI as BillBee described above 4. Download and Run Line 6 Edit 3.06.0 from here http://line6.com/software 5. Line 6 Edit should see your POD 2.0
  22. Yes, and yes. Like I said before though, if you want to use your model packs, do not buy the iLok version. BTW, the upgrade to PF2 is definitely worth it. I own both, and never use the Gearbox plug-in anymore.
  23. +1 to what Zap says. You'll need to upgrade to POD Farm 2 Standard to use your model packs with a non Line 6 device. DO NOT buy the iLok version. The iLok version will not recognize your model packs.
