  1. I hear Ya, I tink the same way. Although if you take the plunge and it works you'll have quite a bit of power at your finger tips once you get the hang of it. Oh did I mention I still use an old inexespensive, off shoot, strat that I fixed up myself? Works like a charm and never fails. It even stays in tune so good all I have to do is pick it up and play.
  2. Gotta wonder why this happens. You would think a pop up would warn you about what devices the product your about to buy is for, so before you actually pay for it you can back out if it's not for your particular device. I'm sure it'll get worked out though
  3. Switch to line and if it clips switch back to amp.
  4. Yep, I would say it's like a PA function too. I like Spider Jam and use it all the time. Also, it's the most reliable 75w SS amp I've owned so far. I think a PA can handle a wider range of frequencies, but this amp sounds pretty good all around to me.
  5. Whenever this question pops up I always turn the levels down and work my up to avoid a potential blown speaker or ear drum, lol. I would trun the CD input level down, turn the phone all the way up and make my setting (CD input level) with the master at where you usually keep it.

    DT3

What if they made one all decked out with "Tboneous" logo's? lol "Tboneous" inlays, "Tboneous" hand painted emblems, "Tboneous" carvings, "Tboneous" strings wrapped on the ends with silk threads that after spun on them spells "Tboneous", and special function that when a swithch is thrown it kicks in an arangement of angels that sing "Tboneous"? This is just in jest "T", I would love a guitar decked out in "Brazzy" stuff. That would be cool. Hmmmmm now let me see which guitar can I uuuuuse, lol. I like the looks of that body Colonel.
  8. Holy S***! The creativity is flowing in here, lol.
  9. Good Think'in! Thanks. I may've never thought of this.
  10. Zombies are the perefect target, Where's my ammo?! Although sometimes ineresting things can be found in them. lol
  11. That's Rich!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL So true too. I'm gonna be laughng off and on all day from this maxnew40. My thumbs up to ya! People are going to think I'm nutz hahaaaa.
  12. My DT would work fine but then the next time I powered up the tubes would not light up thus no sound. The first time this happened I put tubes in and biased it but then it started to act up with a fast fade out. So I'd let it cool down before trying again. I'd get 15 minutes out of it then it would fade out. After that it would power up but the tubes were cold and no sound. That's when it went to Line 6. The second time, after the install of a new main board, tsb 059, and new power tubes, I played it for 2 hour increments for 12 hours and the next time I powered up the tubes were cold and no sound so it went back in. Line 6 is where she be currently.

    Release the GAS, LOL :)
  14. Didn't get a chance to check the bias after getting it back from the Line 6. It played good for about 12 hours and pooped out in the same way as before. Sent it back about Mar 3rd and it's still getting the once over at Line 6. Will report back after I get it back or get word.
  15. Funny story "T", glad you shared that and I hope you get yours fixed properly. I love the way the DT50 sounds. Your not boosting the confidence I'm trying to maintain for my DT50, lol. I've had to send it back to Line 6 twice. First time I wasn't sure what was going on so I did the research and properly put tubes in it, Then it died shortly after that. No blown fuses that I could replace so I sent it to them. When it came back I had 12 hours on it when the same thing happened. So it went back and that's where it is now. I don't even gig with this amp. I wanted to make sure I could trust it first, lol. I laugh but I'm crying in the same breath. The first time I was going to try to take it to an "authorized" service center but when I tried that there were issues. One was out of business and the others where far away. I called Line 6 about my service center choices and the man just said 'No one's going to be able to fix it." , lol. Apparently, this amp is too complicated for the average service center. I suppose I should become an "Adaptive Amp" service tech as I might become a commodity in the near future. I really hope Line 6 can fix me up and get this amp working properly, I love the way it sounds and so does everyone who hears it. Amaxzing Amp, I just need it last.
  16. I was hoping you just do the update, lol. I'm still waiting to get my DT50 back. I suggest you try every possible comination the DT has to offer in order to make sure it all works. Have Fun!!
  17. Whoops, I apologize. That post will self destruct in 24 hours.
  18. I think the Bass here have eat'in all the pan fish, lol, maybe that's why the worms work, lol. Medium sized frogs work great as well. I found a few dried frogs that baked under the charcoal bin lid, lol. I strategically stuck it on that hook and it worked too. I never used a dried frog before, lol. It's neat how they just dry perefectly and they float just right.
  19. I tried to take a good picture but I didn't do a good enough job to show actual size. This fish was 18" long. I lost 2 before I got this one which was after spending 4 hrs out there. Check this out, I use the Zoom worm, lol. Always catches big Bass. Never fails. Even in the winter, lol. Isn't there modeler stomp box called the Zoom that's getting a-lot of love lately? lol I've been using that same bag for years now and I also use one that's 5"'s long, the one in the photo is the 6"er.
  20. Haha, I see what ya mean. I can't say that I keep up with all the cool tv shows but I still watch movies like "Stripes", "The Gauntlet", "Moonraker", "Tommy Boy", "Blazing Saddles", "Born Losers", "Gaurdians of the Galaxy", "Captain Ron", "Coogans Bluff", "The Departed", "Dirty Harry", "Gangs of New York", "The Hunt for Red October", "Seven Pounds", "The Skulls", "Snowpiercer", "A Good Woman", "Subspecies" and many more every now and then just o help keep things in a balanced perspective, lol. Thanks to itunes I don't have annoying commercials heckling me constantly, hahahaaaa. And in preperation for the for the possibility of needed basic survival skills I've caught this Nice sized Bass today. Hahaaaa
  21. Thanks again for the excellent info you provided us. It's been a Great Help.
  22. This sounds alot like a scene in the "Walking Dead" PS3 Game, lol.
  23. I kinda like it when a thread gets "aswered" and then goes into something all together different. I agree, it's all about discussion and learning so maintaining a good attitude is the best thing for anyone. I think we call it 'civility". I think your all pretty cool and civil while you engage in controversial discussions. That's saying a-lot. :) Have a Great Day Everyone and hammer that guitar when you can.
  24. Problems like this always prompts me to either reinstall everything or uninstall/reinstall everything.

Good to hear you made your life easier by becoming a FRFR believer. It's amazing how good the Pods sound through them. Just think no more tube amp issues. Rock On!
