Line 6 monkey downloads driver but after it is installed, device is still blinking red lamps meaning it can't be used and it is not detected as valid output. When I starting monkey again it show that driver not installed. 5th time in a row it fakes installations, and shows driver is not installed. Every time drivers says that all ok continue, finish.

Hi all, For my setup I frequently swith between using the output from a Midikeyboard, with the output set to the UX 2, and a Traktor midi djcontroller, directly connected to my speakers. When I want to swith between them I have to switch cables between the line 6 and laptop. I tried connecting mij dj controller directly to the line 6. So that the output signal would be coming out of the UX 2, and I wouldn't have to change al the wires everytime I wanted to use something different. It didn't seem to work. Is there a possibility that I could route the controller through UX2? I only want to use it as a better soundcard. I know the muisic comes from the pc and software

Hello folks, I hope you can help. I've just swapped my ageing Scarlett 18i8 1st Gen for a 2nd gen one. The old Mix Control is now Focusrite Control and very different. For some reason my Helix volume knob now controls the volume of everything (PC, DAW, Guitar) and so does the Scarlett. This is a pain because when I'm recording into my DAW and I want to up the guitar level with the Helix volume knob it alters the DAW volume too. I'm using Reaper. Helix used to only control my guitar volume. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, I have the following setup (excuse the sad ASCII art): PC ---USB---> HX Guitar---------> Stomp ---> Headphones So basically PC and guitar into the stomp and headphones out. I want to use the Stomp as a soundcard so I can jam to tracks, youtube lessons etc. (note I'm not using a DAW or anything on the PC, so am not sending any audio from the stomp to the PC) With the Stomp, there is a 5 - 10 second delay when playing any sound from the PC (e.g. playing an mp3, watching a video). Once playing it is OK, but once I pause,. pick a different videos etc the delay comes back. It's almost as if the USB connection goes to sleep and needs to wake up. I can play audio via my Yamaha THR10c amp (also connected via USB) and it works fine, without any delay. So I think this is something Stomp or driver specific and not related to my PC (note the Stomp and THR10c are not powered on at the same time so shouldn't conflict). Has anyone any idea how I might resolve this? Details: - Windows 10 64-bit - Stomp firmware 2.71 - Control panel shows 1. Line 6 > HX Stomp - Driver Provider Line 6, Driver version 1.0.0.0, Date 09/01/2018 2. Audio inputs and outputs > Speakers (HX Stomp) - Driver Provider: Microsoft, Driver version 10.0.17134.1, Date 11/04/2018 - HX Stomp is the default device in Sound > Palback - Using the cable provided with the stomp into a rear USB 2.0 port - Ryzen 5 CPU and B350 motherboard Thanks!

Hello, I use Line 6 UX2 with Podfarm as software to play my guitar. So this is how I usually connect: Guitar -> UX2 -> Computer (Podfarm) | Headphones Now I bought a Loop pedal and I do this: Guitar -> Loop Pedal -> UX2 -> Computer (Podfarm) | Headphones And it works perfectly fine! No delay or whatsoever. My question is whenever I play something, let's say Am C D F as a loop with CLEAN sound and then on my Layer 2 want to play solo over this, and click "Pedal ON" on my Podfarm the Layer 1 also changes. So how do I solve this problem? I want to be able to: Layer 1. Clean acoustic sound, looping! Layer 2. Distortion Solo. Layer 3. Another sound etc. So how do I do this with the UX2? Please help.

POD500 has a very unexpected twist in it: as “a bonus†it works as USB Sound Card. I listened to it once and… I cried. I cried because I missed my life worth of THAT quality music. I connected $50 Sony stereo speakers to it and OH MY GOD, it was unbelievable. That was the moment I knew that whatever is inside that POD500 thing is magical. It made my cheap speakers sound like million dollars. I am considering buying that POD500 and use it JUST as USB sound card. It costs $500 and it’s very bulky. So I was wondering, is there perhaps that “bonus†sound card that sold separately or what would be the closest equivalent of the sound processing chips used in the POD500? Thank you!

Hey guys, I bought the HD500X a couple of weeks ago and I was wondering how you use it to record your stuff? When recording, do you just run the HD500 directly to your PC/Mac using the USB connection or do you connect it to an audio interface first and then take it to your PC? In other words, do you use the HD500X as the audio interface or do you use whatever other audio interface you have as the interface in your DAW?

Hello everyone! I am wondering, if there is a way to use usb-interface while editing my patches in pod hd. Please, take a look on the scheme I drew: https://2.downloader.disk.yandex.ru/preview/d5273195fd5c327879d31dc73dd54ca87673a70ce179525cba8f0271ed650d34/inf/TBwbN1hIDpW1khBkar4de-IFiC4WnK6FcoTIEK6bD5Q5fXm9B-fDG1cFLLJN5lx8lC1mHcivs-ZJVtKMFE8eXw%3D%3D?uid=33198966&filename=scheme.png&disposition=inline&hash=&limit=0&content_type=image%2Fpng&tknv=v2&size=1280x776 I want my pc apps not to use POD as soundcard except POD's editing software. So my scenario is simple. I want to play a guitar while playing some songs in any player app. I can edit patches to create a sound I like. But for master volume control I use my usb-interface (just because it stands on the desk, it is more comfortable than to bend to the floor where POD is). When I'm done playing, I just turn the POD off and continue browsing/playinggames/watchingporn using usb-interface. So, again, I need to connect POD's USB to PC only for editing patches, while all the playback is performed by usb-interface. Sorry for my english and my explanation. If there is any simpler solution, I would be glad to hear it. Thank you!

I'm currently running the 4th public beta of OSX El Capitan which will be released to all Mac users in the near future. I've encountered an issue where the operating system is not able to use the POD HD500 as an external soundcard for music production in Logic Pro X or even just for general media consumption. I was going to chalk it up to it being an unperfected beta release but the curious thing is that my Native Instruments Guitar Rig audio device works perfectly fine. Will Line 6 release a driver update after the public release of the operating system? Have Line 6 had to do this in the past when new operating systems are released? Anyone experiencing a similar issue? Any feedback would be much obliged. Cheers, Jordan.

Greetings Line6-Community, I want to use my POD HD500 as a USB interface for my PC, instead of using my bulit in soundcard. The only problem for me is, that I need separate outputs for the PC-Sounds and the Inputs (in my case: Guitar via "Guitar IN" and microphone via "AUX IN"). Is it possible to get the PC Signal through the "phones output" and separatley the inputs through the "1/4 L/R Outputs"? Thanks advance for your help! ^_^

hello, when i connect my POD 2.0 to my computer via the line in/mic i get audio lag. i have a soundblaster recon 3d. Tried the right/left output and also the headphone jack and still get lag. i tried disabling the THX Studio Pro effects but still have the same problem. Is there some setting ive missed with the recon 3d,?, i using direct air mode on the pod so i dont think its a problem with the pod because having plugged headphones straight into the headphone jack i dont get any lag at all. im just using a standard 3.5mm cable with adapter to plug into computer. Do i need a better soundcard? i have no clue why this is happening because you dont normally get lag from these kind of amp modeling/fx processors like the pod 2.0
