    So it's all fine after recording? Or do you hear the clean through your headphones during play back of the recorded track? And when you are playing without recording? It sounds like a monitoring function in your DAW is set to on position

    Have you tried uninstalling the Windows update? I don't update my pc, for fear of things going wrong

    Just to check, what operating system do you use? Have you tried changing your input selection? I guess that you have gearbox installed and not podfarm? Are you using a stand alone version of gearbox/podfarm or do you use it as a plug in with a DAW?

    I've never tried to out put through my pc. It's worth giving it a go. Some have had trouble with Windows 10,some have got it working, Some haven't. Try different usb ports and reinstall the latest drivers, via monkey or line6.com. Search this forum for Windows 10 problems, Some may help. You can always try speaking to line6 directly, via a support ticket

    My speakers and headphones are connected to my ux2 and the playback settings are set to ux device for playback. The listen back to device setting is the same as monitoring your track inside a DAW. Both causes slight latency for me, so it's pretty much an un-useable function on my set up, other than for fine tuning. Try using your interface for all possible ins and outs

    Are your speakers plugged into the ux2 or your pc? What operating system do you use?

    What speakers do you use? Perhaps it's a good opportunity to upgrade/buy a new set of speakers. A mid price range set of speakers 2.1 speakers should sound pretty good through the ux2. I recently purchased the Logitech z333 speakers and they sound good, Good enough for a hobbyist like me.

    You need to select the microphone input. If you are using podfarm in stand alone, there is an input selection in podfarm. If not, you need to select it in your computer's control panel. http://uk.line6.com/support/manuals/podstudioux1/ Download the advanced user guide and and check section 3-5

    Have you checked your firewall settings? It could be that. Try it on another computer it you have one. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling manager?

    Have you selected the microphone input, either in podfarm stand alone (if you use it that way) or through the line6 audio device manager on your computer's control panel?

    I doubt any on board realtek soundcard would be as goid as the ux1. I would think you woul get better quality recording and playback using the ux1 as your dedicated soundcard. Perhaps you could describe your setup and people here maybe able to offer some advice

    For me, it was cheaper to just buy the model packs I wanted, saved a 200-odd £ doing it that way. Perhaps with the platinum upgrade you're buying podfarm as a standalone product and it would work without a line6 device. If I was going to buy anything out right, it would be the helix plug in.

    So when you use the plug in version in Reaper, to hear the instrumnet/voice you want to record, you will need to use the monitor function on the track you are recording on, or you won't hear any sound. When you record, do you get the re-amped sound? I usually leave the monitor function off, there's a small amount of latency on the play back, on my setup anyway.
