  1. It might be a Windows 10 problem. You could try running podfarm in an older windows version, this might eliminate the possibility of it being a problem with podfarm. https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/set-compatibility-mode-windows-10 Im not sure if it would solve things, but it might be worth a try
  2. The driver tab looks fine, what about the driver selection in your DAW? Do they match the settings that you have set in the audio device manager in the top picture? That will cause drop outs/ clicking/ hissing. When i use podfarm stand alone, it resets the drivers and they dont match, i need to reset it every time.
  3. Are you running on Windows 10? There have been lots of problems with the drivers recently. Are you recording with it? Or general souncard use only?
  4. You might be best to ask line6 directly with this query. Log in to your account at line6.com and open a support ticket with them
  5. Have you checked the sample rate settings are running at the same rate as your DAW?
  6. If you open a support ticket with line6, they can reset the limit on your device. Log in to your account and open a support ticket there on your account page.
  7. Arw1 you recording an electric guitar straight in to the toneport, via podfarm standalone version? You can adjust the input level using the input dial, id you want a louder sound to work with. If that fails, just a select a preamp in podfarm and adjust the volume that way
  8. Does the line mixers have individual outputs for each channel you have used? Each out put would need to go in to a separate input in the ux2 to be able to send them individually to podfarm / your DAW. Unless the inline mixer has some great features you want to use, it is a little redundant, I feel. You might be better going straight in to your ux2.
  9. It should come as a plug-in with your ux8. It should just be a case of installing it as a plug in
  10. If you log on to your account at line6.com and then navigate to the customtone section of the website, you can download the patches people have uploaded there. Even a quick google search throws a lot up. https://www.google.com/search?q=line6+podfarn+presets&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b
  11. If you doby have any luck here, try the helix forum; https://line6.com/support/forum/86-helix/ Some helix users might not come to this part of the board
  12. I bet the helix drivers work great with Windows 10. The ux doesn't seem to have the support at the moment
  13. Is it podfarm 1 or podfarm 2 that you are having trouble with? What operating system and what version of the os
  14. Have you contacted line6 directly? Via a support ticket on your account page at line6.com. They maybe be able to offer more help. The drivers for Windows 10 are causing a lot of troubles. Is rolling back to Windows 7 out if the question?
  15. I don't see why it wouldn't. The toneport is just a new soundcard, any incompatibility issues would be with podfarm. I've never heard of it not working with studio 1.
  16. I would guess that it's the same driver incompatibility that others have with Windows 10. Some have had success trying different usb ports from what I recall. There are many posts on here if you search for them, some have shared their fixes, like this post. A quick Google search brings up a few results
  17. Here's a video of how to set up your ux correctly. This is a good place to start. Settimy up your device correctly should reduce latency
  18. It depends on what sound you are after. I'm sure everyone does it a different way. I usually record acoustic with just a dry sound and eq the sound with a preamp or the multiband eq in cubase to get it sounding what I imagine. Then copying the original recording to another track or re-record the same part and add an amp model and any effects I want and pan one track 10% or 20% left and 10% or 20% right. Adding subtle layers and panning is a regular thing for me
  19. Do you mean the buzzing noise in the background? That can be one of many things. Have you tried the audio troubleshooting guide? Giving it a go is a good first port of call
  20. Are you trying to install podfarm 1 or podfarm 2?
  21. Have you tried disabling tour firewall/anti vurus/ ad blockers, etc. I would also try uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of monkey itself. That has worked in the past. If that doesn't work, you're best to report it to line6 directly, it might be somerging their end or they may have more options than we know about here
  22. I haven't upgraded to Windows 10. I stick with Windows 7 for that reason. My set up works and I won't risk changing anything after reading a lot on this forum. What are you having problems with?
