  1. If you are still having trouble? You might be best to contact line6 directly, via a support ticket. If you log in to your account at line6.com, you can open a support ticket there.
  2. It sounds like a long winded way of doing things. What is the behringer control usb doing other than outputting to your monitors? The ux2 replaces your on-board Sound card, so I'm not sure why you use that as well. have you tried hooking your your monitors directly to the ux2 and setting your ux2 as your playback device in your pcs settings?
  3. The next step is signing in to license manager and that should activate the ux1. This video was of great help to me when I first set up my ux1. I hope it helps
  4. Have you registered the device at line6.com yet? That will need doing if not
  5. A lot of people are having trouble connecting at the moment it seems. Perhaps contact line6 directly, via a support ticket on your account page at line6.com, to see if they know if any troubles on their side.
  6. You might be best to ask line6 directly. Try a support ticket, via your account page at line6.com
  7. You will have to register the ux1 with line6. Visit line6.com and create an account, then sign in and register your ux1 on your account page. Using the serial number on the sticker underneath the unit. Be sure to select the correct device, an all black PODSTUDIO ux1 or a black and red TONEPORT ux1. Once that is done, you need to download and install license manager and the drivers. It maybe best to download line6 monkey. https://line6.com/software/ Select your product and operating system and leave the all software selection unchanged. Monkey and license manager should be the top two download links. Once you have installed them both, load up line6 monkey and update the drivers. Check out this video for some visual help
  8. It might be best to contact line6 directly with your error code. You can open a support ticket once you have signed in to your account at line6.com. Or search your error code in Google and look at older posts and what people have tried.
  9. Im no expert, but I would suggest using an interface like the ux1. Im not sure how compatable condenser mics and basic sound cards are. If it's still works with your old mic, I would guess it isn't compatable with what you have
  10. Are you using an interface(ux1/ux2)? Or into your computer's sound card?
  11. I'm looking to buy a second unit, for another pc. Is there much if a difference between the podstudio and the toneport? Thanks in advance for any help
  12. I've had trouble accessing the forums over the last few days. I've had to navigate through to the forum from line6.com to get here.
  13. https://mintywhite.com/windows-7/listen-devices-windows-7/ C heck to see if the listen to this device is checked, like in the link.
  14. Have you tried it out? Let us know if you still have troubles
  15. You won't hear anything as a plug-in, unless you monitor the track in your DAW, although, I always have latency when monitoring podfarm plug-in. So I don't use the monitor function.
  16. It sounds like your computer is monitoring your microphone. You need to check your settings. Do you use Windows or Mac?
  17. I could only suggest a fresh install or manually installing the drivers. When I've had driver issues in the DAW before, manually reinstalling drivers( download and install), as opposed to using monkey. that has sorted things for me. Other than that, you might be best to ask line6 directly, via a support ticket. You can do this via your account page at line6.com.
  18. I don't think you need monkey, you can manually download everything. You need the license manager though.
  19. How do you record your voice with the gx? What is your set up? I've seen a few people struggle to record vocals with the gx. I used to use the compressors, eq and effects as in the DAW, but i found that the preamps/effects in podfarm are much better. Now all I use is a preamp (depending on what sound I want to achieve, I use different ones), then usually the multi-year delay and finally a compressor. If you are struggling with the output level of the console and modern preamp, you can adjust the input and output levels via the dials in the top left and top right hand corners of the podfarm interface.
  20. If it's the same for all basses and pod farm settings, I doubt that it's instrument problems. And if you're getting the clean tones on your guitar parts as you want, I doubt it's a podfarm issue. Have you tried podfarm in stand alone mode as well as a plug in? Is it the same on both? For bass, I just choose a bass amp from the 'line6 bass amp' tab list in the DAW and edit on from there. In the top left and top right corner of podfarm interface are dials, input volume on the left and output volume to the right. Have you tried setting those up?
  21. Have you registered your gx on your account at line6.com?
  22. The only thing I can suggest is giving the usb audio troubleshooting guide a try. It often manages to clear up any troubles that people have. http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/recording/computer-audio-set-up-and-troubleshooting/usb-audio-troubleshooting-r443
  23. First off, have you worked your way through the audio troubleshooting guide? It usually fixes any faults; http://line6.com/support/topic/217-usb-audio-troubleshooting/?view=getnewpost If you have checked monkey and it says it's all Ok, update the drivers manually, that has worked for me in the past. Do you have trouble using as a plug in or stand alone? Or both?
  24. http://line6.com/support/topic/217-usb-audio-troubleshooting/?view=getnewpost Give the troubleshoot a go, more often than not, something in there sorts it out. Are you using it inside a DAW as a plug-in? Make sure to select the correct drivers in your DAW if so.
  25. I don't know how it performs against more modern interfaces, but, I can confirm that some people have troubles with Windows 10. Obviously we only hear when people have issues, so many probably do have it working great with Windows 10. It gives me the results that I wish for, home recording with no ground noise, that's all i can say.
