This has been suggested before and the idea was not agreed to. As Forrest said, "that's all I have to say about that"....

Havent you heard?!? Theres nothing wrong with the tuner! ; )

FYI, There is a post by Phil here on one of the threads that show resets to use/try when/if the HX/Helix/others won't work right. If you cant get it to work by other feedback here first, then use at your discretion. Also, check out this post as well!!!

If you mean the one in the editor, then yes...

Just installed- thanks for the update and fixes!

Excellent idea guys!

Very simple question if I may. Are all of these " hold these buttons down" steps while doing this or that to the HX listed in the "User" manual in the "trouble-shooting" section (if the machine wont boot up)? If it is then fine, but you know what my next question is gonna be if it's not... Also since I'm on that trail of self-destruction, why would one have to do this to a new HX unit in the 1st place?

OK- You have the left "mono" out of Helix going into the RTN of the DT-25, and the send from Helix (set to instrument lvl) going into the guitar input of the DT-25, and the "send" on the DT-25 going back to the RTN of Helix, right? So you hear the FX before, but not after the amp? Are you seeing the FX "after" the amp turned on in the editor? Are the blocks on the same path/line in the editor?

Another Shingle has gone bad. How many does that make now? My advice, If you can still return it (for exchange or otherwise), do so. If that's not an option for you, create a ticket for repair with Line 6....

Another bad shingle or two...

^^^^^^ Klangmaler too funny!

No one is around the buttons or knobs on that Mixer but you? Ever? Never had to take a pee-break??? Really? ; )

Sending 48 volts into Helix when you don't mean to, is worth every stinking cent on that purchase to me. Murphy says, pay me now or pay me later.. ; )

Just tried this on my setup. I'm running a late 2009 iMac and mine does NOT do this, it installs the patch just fine and very quickly. I don't know what is up with your setup, but what happened in the video is not the way it should act. Can you save settings on the factory patches, and or move them to the user sets?

Thanks Graig! It sounds good to me so u know the ol saying, If it ain't broke.... ; ) (I use this because the smileys are fubared).

I can get 3 bars on the very left side of the LED picking really hard, and thats it. Is that normal?

So is the Instrument lvl from Big-Sky too hot Craig? Thanks for that info BTW...

I for one do not use Facebook for looking/reading at Line-6 stuff (old school disease), so putting that info over there for an "Intermittent" forum problem over here just doesn't make any sense to me. That's like putting the info in the newspaper in Canada but I don't take the paper there either. Could they not spend 5 seconds saying there's an issue here, and that they are aware of it and working on it??? It's not like the forum was down all the time... They coulda put the info on the Line-6 index page as well... Doesn't matter now I guess but the thought process behind all of this boggles the mind.

Clear enough. Thanks for the answer.

I was told by Line-6 via a "private message" that Line-6 knew about the forum issues for weeks, but it took time to "fix" it. Fine. I then ask why there was not an official message from them stating this? Here is the answer I just got... "I don't know. I'm a product manager, not in the IT department. Several folks at Line 6, including myself, posted in the major Facebook groups. But I'm not sure what was done beyond that. And a system-wide message on our forums would be useless to anyone who couldn't access them." I am fixing to point out to him, that the forum was not always down, and that this doesn't excuse not issuing a "System-wide" on the forums about this issue.

It's kinda a moot point now since He said Line-6 wouldn't answer him, so he bought an FX-8 "and" Fractal wasn't shy about answering questions... If it is how you say it is Neu, and since it seems no one else will, let "ME" step up and say that I'm sorry for the poor service you received from Line-6.

So with Helix doing the "auto Calibration", theres really no way to zero out the controllers. It is what Helix says it is. For instance and IIRC, my SP1-L6 at heel down is at 11%. Moot point- Not that it messes with anything tone wise, but I would prefer to set/reset these settings myself, along with the % that it would engage the Wah, via a software menu in the editor. As expressed in the past, others here don't feel the need for that kind of control, but Id love to see it happen at some point (if it involves the tone of the FX/patch). MORE OPTIONS- Always...

Forum was "down" for me this morning "again". Up now. Change its name to YOYO forums.... ; )

I kinda like the new look!!!
