Nice work!

So since I'm not a Bass player... erummm... Anyone care to post an editor pic on a Template set up for a Bass, and its lvls? Thanks.
-
Oh yea, and it's been around longer than some players here I'm betting ;)
-
For LP and strat switch a roo's I'm using an old DOD 240 resistance mixer so that I don't wear out the input plug/port on the Helix rack by switching in and out guitars/cables, but I'm sure there are other/better methods as well. Yea i know impedance yada yada, but it sounds ok to me and there's less wear and tear on Helix.

Using the pad u should hear a difference, but if its still too hot do what Hamm and others have pointed to as why above.
-
FYI- Anyone try this Multibanding (Splitting the 10-band graphic EQs) listed in Guitar Player page 17 yet?
-
Wait, there's a manual?
-
I use Helix XLR L&R into my (Mixer- then Apollo) Interface AND the buffered guitar out on Helix for an input on my VoiceLive 3 Extreme. So yes, using (IMHO) Helix for what it is primarily designed for (a guitar Processor 1st and foremost) works out very well for me, plus the fact that I can also use it as a backup audio Interface if ever needed in a pinch. Best of all worlds for me.

Yea and then add a tuner!!! B)

Wait until they have a 26 "wireless" cable method, with special glasses you have to have just to see them!

Line 6 has their own way of doing things with expression pedals (and everything else), and thats not always a bad thing. But I do wish DI or someone that the "Wizards" at Line 6 might listen to, would take the time and study/look at what Fractal has done software wise with their expression pedals, and then USE most of these regarding the Expression pedal setup and added sweep curves, percentage of turn on and off, nulls, etc etc...All available for tweaking on within the editor! Fractal really "Nailed" it the right way.
-
Helix was and is the 1st product Line 6 has ever made (besides the Vetta) that made me do a double take when I first heard it. I know you asked about the pedals but with Helix you really need to listen to the "Amp" tones 1st, and the pedals second. Not to say the fx are bad, far from it. Its just that (for my ears) the older PodHD and GT100 cant compare, not even on the same planet as Helix is tone wise. Oh yea, and it has nice FX built into it as well. ;)

No issues here ever. On Rack units- be sure and turn off the floor Controller before updating.
-
Wonderful- Thanks again Phil for being here! :)
-
Ok and thanks for that! Can you (by doing what you did above) set up 2 snapshots on midi channel 1 for the Mobius and use two different settings (sounds) from the Mobius on that same Helix patch Phil? If not, then what does Line-6 need to add to the Midi commands to be able to do this?
-
Errr umm groveling and pleading time. :D Step by step please if you will. How do I setup Snapshots on a footswitch (on Helix Controller), so that it will call up 2 different sounds (or more) from the same Strymon pedal per Helix patch? Oh yea, Happy Thanksgiving!

I'll be damn- I looked everywhere too- Thanks!

I cant find the program change #'s in the new editor...

Just making another observation/opinion- I didn't see where people were actually "picking" on him. Most generally stating an opinion one way or the other on updating. And, I'm pretty sure Hideout is capable of defending himself here. So I believe there's no cause in rescuing him even if He's poor, as you suggest... ;)

As Seger says..., Deadlines and commitments, what to leave in, what to leave out.... ;)
-
When I updated I tried so far 2 or 3 patches I use most of the time, and they sounded really good, as they did before. My point is it didn't cost me any more time to confirm this. No tweaking. Yet...
-
No tuner for the editor either!!!! :P

Scribble strips blank on start up - Anybody else have this problem?
