It depends on where the USB connection is. The POD HD ProX must use its MIDI ports, not its USB port for MIDI communications. So if your usb/midi controller connects to your computer via USB and to the Pod via MIDI, then it should work. But if your controller needs to use USB to connect to the Pod then it won't work.

Unfortunately that can't be done. The POD HD Looper has no concept of tempo/time; there are no beats, no metronome and hence no possibility of synchronicity. It operates on a simple start/stop switch. It starts recording the instant you push the footswitch, and it stops similarly. It records everything in between. It's up to you to keep the tempo of your playing consistent while recording, and also to start/stop the recording at exactly the right 'beat' according to your concept of tempo - without any silence at the beginning and end of your recording interval.

Two very important things for a music/recording PC: lots of RAM and a quiet fan. The processor speed is not likely to be an issue, but too little RAM will cause problems. And fan noise can make its way into your recordings especially when using a mic input. For best performance when recording, disconnect your computer from the Internet and temporarily disable all unnecessary background processes such as virus checkers, spyware, and other usb devices. You can still use USB from the HD Pro to your computer, but make sure you get at least a couple of the older USB 2.0 ports rather than exclusively the newer USB 3.0.

Firmware adds SPP bluetooth capability for data communication with Android devices. This update is NOT required for iOS users, but will require version 2.00 of the iOS app as device names have changed.

If you select the amp in the signal chain view then hold down the ENTER key you will get to a display of all the amp's tone stack settings. You can also do this with each of the FX to see their settings. As an alternative to taking a kazillion photos I would consider building a quick Excel or Word table to manually record all settings while viewing them as described above.

The L2 speaker mode is a global setting. It applies to all inputs. You can't have your vocal output remain in PA/Reference mode while your HD500X preset changes the mode to Electric Guitar.

There is no way to transfer tones from the HD500 to a HD Pro without using a usb connection on the HD500 to get the tones to your computer using HD500 Edit. Unless you have previously saved your HD500 presets/setlists to your computer while the USB connection was working, you will need to recreate from memory your customized HD500 tones manually on your HD Pro. I have had the USB connector on my HD500 repaired. I can't recall offhand the exact amount but I know it was more than $100. It is not a simple matter of replacing the port itself; there's an internal hardware component/chip that also needs to be replaced.

Check your Input settings on the POD for the preset you are using. Not sure why you want to use the Mic rather than Guitar input, but you need to assign the physical input to either Input1 or Input2 in the preset.

They also need to be high speed SD cards. Not sure exactly what that means in terms of data transfer rate, but check to see that your cards are advertised as high speed.

Can you please clarify what exactly the i/o is that you speak of? Is it a separate audio interface device, or are you just talking about the i/o (inputs and outputs) on your HD500? If it's a separate device please provide the manufacturer and device name.

Make sure you set the Output Mode switch on the rear panel of the Hd300 to STUDIO. Also, look further in Reaper for the Audio Device setting. You should see, and select, the HD300 and its ASIO driver for audio input and output.

Have you considered a Stagesource speaker instead of an amp? Set your Hd500 to Studio mode and go FRFR. Hassle free acoustic and electric guitar sounds.

It's more a matter of receiving than sending. Each speaker has only one L6 LINK IN jack. Hence it can only receive L6 LINK data from one device; either the HD500 or the other L2 speaker - not both. In other words, the analog audio connected to the L2t speaker to which the HD500X is NOT connected has no way to get to the other L2t speaker, because the HD500X is already occupying the required L6 LINK IN port.

Try this: - connect the two L2t speakers together via L6 LINK as I described above, each one's OUT to the other's IN - connect your other devices to your BOSS Looper as it seems you are already doing, and connect the BOSS audio outputs to L2t #1 stereo line inputs on the rear panel - connect your HD500X audio outputs to L2t #2 stereo line inputs on the rear panel. Do not use L6 LINK output from the HD500X. - balance the BOSS and HD500X relative levels using their respective output levels. If you want to experiment, some pieces that you are now connecting to the BOSS device can be connected directly to other inputs on either of the L2t speakers. If you want to use the side panel mixer for these inputs you have other control and FX options to play with.

But the POD HD400 does not have MIDI I/O ports, and the only available MIDI over USB is sysex stuff (e.g. system dump/restore). I don't think you can get individual MIDI commands into the HD400.

Nope - you won't find an app for that. The required API is proprietary; Line 6 doesn't provide it. In fact, they probably haven't developed it - they do their own editors and probably don't use a standard API for it. It's all in-house proprietary stuff.
