    The longer and deeper I get in, trying to do the perfect setup for my JTV-59 the harder I feel that the bridge is not placed well by the factory or specs. If I try to setup the intonation well, I have to place the string-adjustment-sliders on the bridge (don't no the proper term for ist in English) back, at the very end, both on low E and A. There is no way to screw them more backwards so I am very glad, that this is the point, where intonation is okay but not perfect. I am in contact with some other players of the JTV59 and they can confirm my guesses. Besides there are some images of the 59er bridge in the web, witch indicates the same problem. Of cause there are other images where the adjustment-sliders are shown the right way but I am pretty sure not everyone is even testing the intonation. But here is also an older thread on this topic without any statement of L6 http://line6.com/support/topic/3630-jtv-59-intonation-problem-with-9s/?hl=jtv-59+intonation String gauges I tried... 9-46 10-46 10-52 I even tried to proof the intonation using a capo and measuring the 13. fret. Also the tiny screws at the bridge are adjusted as long as possible, without loosing the possibility to adjust the height of the bridge by covering this screws. I would like to ask psarkissian if this is a known "issue" (you don't have to call it an issue as I am sure you are not allowed) so I can stop my search for the holy grail of intonation. Otherwise I like to ask for further advices getting the bridge adjusted the right way.

    Thing is, that the POD HD500x is not EOL and still selling, so I'm a little bit unamused about missing bug-fixes. If they gave up the production... no problem at all, but as long as you take the money, you should keep the services running. Just my two cent.

    Glad to hear you found the reason for your VDI-Problem. In case of the buzz there are me and others who have had some kind of very loud horn-tone which only could be stopped by changing the preset or switching the POD off. That did happen only once to me but was very frightening. Buzz sounds a bit deviating to me as a description.

    Okay, so it has to be a hex wrench. Do I have to try out which size fits or can you provide the information? I bought my JTV59 used with everything on board, except the hex wrench for the rod.

    Which screw-Type can be found inside the truss rod? The Phillips screw or the star-type with the flat head on image one? It's a bit difficult to see.

    I write our songs and play them live and at recordings. My philosophy is to have my (!) tone for... Acoustic Clean Edgy-Crunch / Vintage Rock Stoner Rock Metal Rhythm Punk Most tones have the ability to be used as lead-tones, too by adding some delay and do have some basic modulation options. And then there are some specialized patches for special situations like a defect-amp tone, I use in a intro, just to replace it with the non-defective Amp-tone , for surprising reasons, when the band jumps in.

    Maybe just a dumb idea, but what about coating the plug with some tape to get in contact and lean against the housing for safety reasons?

    Put all knobs except the Master to zero position when playing live or at rehearsals. Don't save the patch! Choose another preset just to get back. There is some tolerance in the knobs at zero, so they won't move virtually. If you park your knobs this way they will not move by themselves anymore. But it's a shame that L6 does not allow us to block these controls temporary in the global settings

    You have to find the combination of virtual-body, pickups and tone-controls that works for a virtual-rebuild of your mags. From my experience you start by choosing the neutral body and the virtual-PUs of the 89 which are modeled in the PU-List.

    My 2 cents: You have activated the +18 db option in the ASIO driver and you signal is digitally clipping?

    Okay, I do understand :blink: Your filters are crap ("Show only stores with…"). If I apply a filter as stated above (guitar) there is no data. Not one filter works <_< Try it by yourself using "frankfurt" +200 km

    There is no Lin6 authorized guitar service center in Germany n your map. That's bad. I will contact Graph Tech next...

    That's the point, isn't it? The female takes the male just halfway. So a lightweight cable would give a similar relief to the port as a magnetic solution would give?

    Not easy to keep in mind. I would love the POD to display the ini-z + mono/stereo per block.

    Do you use this adapter already? I'm not sure if I understand the technical principle.

    Just because I am not a native speaker... do I understand you right that the nut used in the JTV-59 is no longer available via the manufacturer and there is no similar replacement in stock at Graph Tech? Where can I find you authorized service centers in Germany for further information?
