Issues with UX1, Reaper and Windows 10
Triryche replied to Bardo1984's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Just for clarification you have green ticks in Monkey for drivers? You are selecting the Line6 ASIO drivers in Reaper? You are selecting the UX1 as your default device in Windows?- 4 replies

Do You Have The Same Problem With 6th String?
Triryche replied to chstd's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Yes, that could possibly be a game changer, but where I see the issue is trying to write code that addresses the extraneous vibrations that the modeling is exaggerating. I would name the parameter (affectionately) Plink Enhancer, but that's just me....   kudos to MiroslavKloud for the extra effort to provide extra data. I was contemplating uploading a video clearing demonstrating the offending plink sound, then slowly zooming out showing I am playing an acoustic electric with one piezo element for all 6 strings (by the way the plink is usually most pronounce on the A and D strings on this particular guitar), but figured that would translate as me being an arse/ Line6 fanboy. I have a JTV-89F, I can play a given JTV model thru several different set-ups/effect chains vs straight mags...and without any extra E-Qing, you would be hard pressed to to "hear" the extra plink,, depending on the actually set-up. My viewpoint: Hi-Gain + Digitally Modeling profoundly exaggerates everything (good AND bad). -
Are you using the latest firmware? You can check under Settings>>Updates

Backing up custom tones before factory reset and firmware update
Triryche replied to xrayeric's topic in AMPLIFi TT/FX100
Just for clarification, saving to "My Tones" is not the same as saving to a bank on the hardware. -
Backing up custom tones before factory reset and firmware update
Triryche replied to xrayeric's topic in AMPLIFi TT/FX100
Not that I'm aware of. But if you have the app installed on more than one device, seeing the tones on the device you did not use to save the tones would confirm they're in the cloud. -
Backing up custom tones before factory reset and firmware update
Triryche replied to xrayeric's topic in AMPLIFi TT/FX100
Any tones that you save to "My Tones" in the app are backed up in the cloud. In cases where you have no cloud access it reverts to the the most recent state stored locally on your device. -
You can just use one since your amp is not stereo.
-
The lag you are hearing is a function of your laptop's hardware and any software processing. You should be monitoring directly from your TT by plugging your monitors, speakers, and or headphones directly to the TT. If you have the latest firmware and USB drivers, just set the TT as your default sound device and you should hear all sounds from your laptop.

Yes.
-
No, the analog Left out.
-
I would use the Left Analog out. The headphone output is stereo. If you use the headphone output I would us the Aux in on the Fender
-
You can run a regular guitar cable from the Left Analog out to the front of your amp or use a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter to use the aux in. The amp is not stereo, but the aux in likely mono sums a stereo input.

Pod Studio UX1 on Windows 10 Problem
Triryche replied to welmour's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Are you selecting the correct input in Pod Farm in the mixer view? Btw… this is a user forum, although Line6 my drop in from time to time, it is not the direct channel for Line6 support. You can give them a call or open a support ticket. -
Are you trying to route the UX1 into an amp, or route an amps output to your UX1 for processing?
-
+1 to fflbrgst This is a user forum, Line6 will occasion drop in, but it is not the channel for direct support. I do not use OBS or Audacity, but I suspect this may be an ASIO related issue. Unless they changed it, Audacity does not support ASIO natively. You can however compile Audacity to support ASIO. It has to do with Steinberg licensing. Not sure if OBS supports ASIO.

POD Studio GX driver doesn't work in El Capitan
Triryche replied to Vitalius's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
The point is, that if this work's with the current beta, then when Apple releases the update it should be fixed. If it is on Apple's end, why would any company try to write drivers to fix a bug that Apple is going remedy? -

This may be on Apple's end. Users are reporting the current OSX beta fixes the issue. Check this thread. http://line6.com/support/topic/14731-ux2-osx-1011-el-capitan-no-sound/?p=118375 -
How To Change FX100 tones in while in usb recording mode.
Triryche replied to gridley's topic in AMPLIFi TT/FX100
You welcome, and no worries. FWIW, you can leave you app open to tweak on the fly. But for playing straight through an entire song, I would close the app to reduce the lag between patch changes. -
No Sound from Podfarm UX1 in OS X El Capitan
Triryche replied to Dakotaruins's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
FWIW, users are reporting the issue is fixed with the current OSX beta, which would imply it was an issue on Apple's end. The El Captain release broke drivers for other interfaces too, not just Line6. So if it is a bug an Apple's end, why would any company try to write drives for it??- 40 replies

The 2 do not integrate, you cannot control the AMPLIFi 150 with the FX100. You could run the main outs of the FX100 into the 150's aux in to use the 150 as an amp. If you do this I would recommend using an empty tone path.

How To Change FX100 tones in while in usb recording mode.
Triryche replied to gridley's topic in AMPLIFi TT/FX100
Currently there is no computer interface for controlling the FX100. The FX100 does all the sound processing. You can capture the finally stereo mix in your DAW via USB. Best thing to do is tweak all your patches via the AMPLIFi Remote app and strategically arrange them in the banks you want and change patches via the foot switches. -
AmplifiTT + Cubase LE8 + Mac = Asio problems

Also, what version is the TT's firmware? -
AmplifiTT + Cubase LE8 + Mac = Asio problems
Triryche replied to coderas's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
Are you running El Captain? There is currently a compatibility issue with El Captain and some of the other interfaces, not sure if it affects the TT. Users are reporting the issue is resolved with the current OSX beta. I'm not a Mac guy, but I'm pretty sure ASIO has nothing to do with Mac it's Core Audio, and the TT is a Core Audio compliant device.
