  1. I see that it's off a bit, I wouldn't think that would cause the problem although a jack that isn't quite right coupled with a slightly out of spec plug could. Did you say you have pull it out a little for it to work right. I know how this sounds, lol. Anyways, I think normal in/out play is about 1/16".
  2. The one shown came with a set of Bose around ear headphones from 2008. An extension cable and that adapter was included. I have a few other ones that work that have the black plastic. I was trying to find it for you online but all I could come up with was from (KRK headphone adapter).
  3. Did you do the factory reset after the update? also calibrate the pedal? http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/pod/pod-hd/video-tutorial-how-to-reset-the-pod-hd-series-r209 http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/pod/pod-hd/after-pod-hd500x500-flashre-flashupdate-man-r160
  4. You ain't kidd'in, haha...Here's the back o the box.
  5. Thanks BB. Schnazzy, now there's a word I haven't heard in a while, cool word. The other switch I put in there for another use such as channel change for the DT50 Head. I still have to go get another mono quarter jack, later I'll drill another hole in the back and wire it up. I should've stocked up on the hardware, lol.
  6. In case anyone has a similar issue. I've noticed that when I start up my computer and open GearBox the footswitch doesn't work. So after a while trying to get it to go I found that if I open Line 6 MIDI Device control panel and then open GearBox it all works. I'm using Win7 and all latest drivers and program. Carry On!!! :)
  7. There are many variations of this kind of connector some of which you will never see. You can take a piece of 1/4 inch rubber hose (like fuel line) and cut it to the proper length slide it on there and glue or tape around the jack 'till it fits snug, you may get lucky and it just might fit snug enough that it will stay there. Wala problem solved.
  8. This thread is just toooo much for me, LOL........
  9. After rereading these posts I really got good laugh, thanks BB. I knew there was a reason why I brief these threads, lol. Anyway here's my measurements......don't be embarrased now, Hahhaaa. Just by comparing the two it looks like your sony adapter is wrong for these Line 6 devices.
  10. LOL. I'm slipp'in. I should've seen that com'in. "No good deed goes unpunished" as the wise ones say.
  11. I'll measure mine with calipers when I can. I know mine works.
  12. I think you would have to modify the switch. Can you assign the change to a foot switch instead?
  13. Hmmmm, interesting I've never run into this one. Although I know to never just force things, did you have to push with a little more force to get it all the way in?
  14. That Basted ASIO4All again....I've never used it. Never even heard of it until reading posts here.
  15. Set up both for the same footswitch, assign both effects to one FS. For the Feedback I think you'll need to use a pedal. Do you have the EX-1? Or you could just make another patch for what you need, although I'm not sure that'll work seamlessly. I think it can be controlled by MIDI CC.
  16. Hey Thanx, I was using RiffWorks & Instant Drummers along with GearBox & Audacity. I also have Ableton Live 8. If I had my own drum set I would try to record them using the UX2 to see what kind of results I get.
  17. I'm sure it can be done. Actually sounds interesting.

Really nice to know these things, thanks for doing all that testing. You're the man!! You Rock!!
  19. Cool, Hope you get it!!!!!! I just had a blast making these with the red faced UX2 >>>> Cool Drums Shred & YoYo Bros II
  20. I've experienced this. I think it's similar to when a computer crashes. Doesn't happen often though.
  21. Maybe you can try it out first, You can ask the owner to unregister it, if indeed it's been registered, ya never know. You could also call Line 6 and ask them what they think. I have one of the TonePort UX2's and I still use GearBox. That little box can sound great, hope you get one. Good luck with whatever you do.
  22. Hi....That's a strange thing. I've never experienced this with mine. Maybe try uninstalling the drivers and GearBox/Pod Farm restart and then reinstall. I've done this for many other reasons and it seems to do the trick.
  23. Thanks BillBee, I think I used RiffWorks and Instant Drummers on the (Funky Munk). There's actually a story behind that one, lol.
  24. Sorry, I saw that during my last post but it didn't register, hahhaa. I hope your going to feel better soon, I've been under the knife before. Keep up the good play with the guitar Punkyboy. Thanks for the positive feedback.
