kylotan
I think some of the presets may have changed in recent versions, because I'm positive that my Helix bought a few months ago has a Deafheaven preset, but I don't see it in your list. ppoceiro
Anyone noticed that two of the most iconic rock guitar sounds are not there from what I can see. Where's Slash or AFD tone or any GNR sound? Where's AC/DC? And even tough they apparently maybe simple to tune, they can be tricky to spot on! Why is that? Or maybe the presets are there but in disguise.

FlyingsCool
I think some of the presets may have changed in recent versions, because I'm positive that my Helix bought a few months ago has a Deafheaven preset, but I don't see it in your list. Yes, each release results in the removal of some presets and addition of others. So if there are presets you like, it's a good idea to copy them to a user list and/or back up those presets. I'm pretty sure there is somebody out there who is keeping a comparative list from release to release.. Might be at HelixHelp.com Anyone noticed that two of the most iconic rock guitar sounds are not there from what I can see. Where's Slash or AFD tone or any GNR sound? Where's AC/DC? And even tough they apparently maybe simple to tune, they can be tricky to spot on! Why is that? Or maybe the presets are there but in disguise. Iconic to you perhaps, but we are too cool  But, really, I KNOW there are some AC/DC in there, or at least there were, and I can't imagine there's not a GNR or two. This is amazing. Let's try to name all of them and find a way to update the Helix with the real names. If you write out the presets individually, they are text files that can be edited. Just make sure you don't use more than 16 characters for each name, and don't use any bad characters, and don't be surprised if the preset gets borked if you make an unintentional change elsewhere before you read it back in. There's always a factory reset if things go totally south... ;)

chogan66
Factory 2 - In Your House "In Your House" by The Cure from their Seventeen Seconds album. It's an obscure choice but the tone sounds just like that song, so it's gotta be it. There's also a preset for Just Like Heaven by them also but I'm not finding it on your list. The built-in templates are occasionally changed or replaced with newer firmware versions. I guess you could always go back to a prior version although I'm not sure why you would really want to do that.

Bboy19
Hi, attached is a file of the Factory presets from version 2.710. It is in an .xls format. If anyone can update the list, let me know I can update it as need. I use it to keep track of presets I like or want to mod at the beginning. I added a Notes column. Some people on another topic were asking for this. I will try to keep it updated for the software update.
