  1. one trick around the volume is to assign the pedal to control the amp volume.... frees the block.
  2. they don't regularly expand on android devices that they test. there are far too many to test on a wide level. I don't think that there would ever be a comprehensive list available.... having said that... (my opinion) i would suggest that you open a ticket with the support team with your concerns: http://line6.com/company/contact/ the forums are essentially a group of users and results can vary.... but official line6 responses are often rare.
  3. i've installed it on a mac without issue.
  4. try taking the knob off and putting a rubber "O" ring under it... should make the knob hard to twist.. might help somewhat,.
  5. 1. if you get an effect pedal (like m5 or m9 for example) with midi then you can still control the whole thing with the hd500x (in the loop no need for 4 cable etc) 2. no exactly the same.
  6. I tend to agree! you might suggest it here though: http://line6.ideascale.com/
  7. i use 44.1 or 48, because i also use an adat expansion on my interface, and anything higher and i lose inputs.
  8. way cheaper to upgrade by just selling yours on craigslist and buying a 500x off craiglist with the money *or ebay, reverb, wherever.....
  9. headphone impedence can matter.... if you can try a different set of headphones... although it doesnt sound right that touching things should change it.... just a thought.
  10. i just connected today through an updated pro x to an updated 69 without issue (mac) just FYI (in case it helps narrow down the issue)
  11. he's stated it a few times that it will.
  12. I believe that the vetta stuff lies somewhere between pod 2.0 and x-series more to the x series... but far more advanced routings and tonal options than the x-series ever offered. and it's a stereo amp as well. i think that the flextone may have had the models from the vetta with a far far simpler interface and fewer options. feel free to correct me anyone.... :)
  13. depends on the issue itself... but a typical tech would be in the range of 60-80$ an hour to look at it... if its simple he could change a component etc... but if it needs a whole new board etc... it would probably exceed the cost of replacement. unfortunate but thats how electronics work nowadays... you can try the service centers: http://line6.com/find/service_center/
  14. that's a very clean example of a vetta II. someone should buy this! these were 1699$ new without the floorboard!
  15. not entirely true.... depending on what firmware he has.... some amp models changed early on... (uber is a prime example) other updates introduced.... deep edit parameters, cab parameters, and input z.... all which can have a dramatic effect on the tone produced.
  16. believe it or not that has helped people. you dont appear to be one of them.... all pc's are not the same (unlike macs, to a large degree a known hardware environment)
  17. Only line6 directly will be able to help. Click contact us at the bottom of the page and either call or submit a support ticket. The 500 update should be out in just over a week though so it might be worth your wait to hold off. Your call.
  18. I'm far from an engineer but my basic understanding is that the looper routes through a memory location in the audio path. It uses that path and the available memory but does not do any significant processing (DSP) The path and memory are limited so multiple loopers is not a viable option.
  19. Already released for pro x and 500x The pro 500 and bean should be along shortly.
  20. Have you tried downloading and installing the latest version of monkey from the website?
  21. That's why it's optional. So that those who do not see the value can keep their money.
  22. yes... select setlist name hit f2 type new name hit enter. go to next. etc
  23. it has to be an FBV, not FBX... the FBV longboard would work... not supported. the FBX is from an older generation and will not work.
  24. make sure you hit the enter key in edit after renaming the setlist.... silly thing that i've missed a number of times... just clicking away isn't enough.
