RipperShred
There are a lot of amp submissions on ideascale, and more than a few I aggree with! Especially on the contemporary high-gain side of things. That said, there are some amps (possibly) collecting dust in their amp room that need to be modeled and added to the list, and it's boggling that they haven't made their way into a product for a whole generation! They kicked @ss in the X3, it's time for these to make a come back. I've started a few idea scale submissions for these gems! Please up vote them! Marshall: JCM900, JCM2000, SILVER JUBILEE http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/JCM-Classics-JCM900-JCM-2000-SILVER-JUBILEE/773510-23508 Mesa Boogie MkIV http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Mesa-Boogie-MKIV/773511-23508 Diezel VH4 (channels 2, 3, 4) Herbert http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Diezel-Amps-VH4-chanels-2-3-4-Herbert/773502-23508 Bogner XTC (Blue and Red channels) http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Bogner-XTC-blue-and-red-channels/773505-23508 And for a modern/contemporary amp that I haven't seen come up already on ideascale Randall Thrasher http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Randall-Thrasher/773523-23508
brue58ski
I wish they would model a Vetta. I love that amp! :D
Lachdanan0121
Another Bogner is definitely welcome, especially the XTC. I have heard clips of it (I haven't played one myself) but it does sound very nice. I want a Mesa Boogie Mark IV, or Mark V... I would be fine with either honestly. I already voted for these ideas. RipperShred
Much appreciated my friend! Apart from the Randall, they're all amps that L6 have in their existing collection, and amps that have stood the test of time and have amazing tones! It's a great diservice to leave them collecting dust when they could be modeled using the HX tech!
Lachdanan0121
Yeah. At this point I don't know if I could come up with any specific amps that I would really like in the Helix that either isn't already in it / covered close enough / already on Idea Scale. You guys have pretty much got that covered, and them some. At some point I would like them to also focus on some really awesome original amp models. This way they don't have to worry about nailing the tone of a certain amp. But just nailing some really awesome tones, that cover a decent spectrum themselves. benjamman
I wish they would model the Engl powerball instead of the fireball. It is a much superior amp tone wise.
sulkbooth
I don't care which model, just do a Matchless and a Dumble model and I'll bite. They are needed :)
RipperShred
Nice to see the love for these amp suggestions on Ideascale. I'm a little suprised the JCMs aren't getting more love, but it's obvious that people feel the same way that I do about the MkIV, VH4/Herbert, and XTC. AMAZING amps that do something special/unique, even compared to what's going to be on offer already, that they have and can/should bring back into the modeling fold. No time like the present with all that new horsepower under the hood!
steele666
Personally i'd love to see a Laney TI modeled, the Tony Iommi model is an AWESOME amp. It sounds like if the low end of an ENGL and the fuzz mid range of a Marshall had a baby. I've never seen it modeled anywhere
Galaden
Budda Zen drive and an Ampeg Jet would be fun. I still love the Zen drive from the old Vetta days, was one of my faves when I had a Vetta.
Galaden
Brian May's Deacy amp would be cool, too.

radatats
A Friedman Dirty Shirley would be great as well. vote it up at IdeaScale! http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Friedman-Amp-Pack/754564-23508
mbenigni
The thing about the Mk IV is that it's got about a half dozen different voicings. When I had mine dialed in where I wanted it, it approximated a gainy Mk II. So I just cast my vote for the Mk IIc+ (i.e. the real deal ;) ) and called it a day. oehman
I once had a friend with an old Sears Silvertone amp. Cool overdrive when you cranked it. Also, the 2-prong plug gave you a pretty good jolt if you held your strings & touched something metal. L6 should add an authentic model of that amp.... :

mbenigni
Already in there. :) But to get the "pretty good jolt" you need to set the Helix up with 2PCM (2 power cable method). :O
RipperShred
Already in there. :) It's awesome how you're all up in these threads! Good to know you've got your ear to the ground. You guys have A BUNCH of great amps that you're sitting on from the good ol' days, and imho if those gems you modeled back in the X3 period made it into the Helix you'd be hard pressed to find a tone you didn't like or couldn't emulate. I can only imagine how great these amps will sound in the HX engine! :D
BigRalphN
I would like to see a Tone King Imperial added. And maybe a 1950s Gibson amp.
HellLicks
+1 to Marshall 2555 but please do Black Jub. Early Silver Jubs before circuit revision sound like @ss 1×12 combos sounds cute too, they're bit different circuit-wise due to lack of choke
daddydoodles
The Friedman BE-100 would be awesome. I already bought the Friedman cab IR from 3 Sigma. To have the amp model would be heaven.

willjrock
I wish they would model the Engl powerball instead of the fireball. It is a much superior amp tone wise. I wish i could thumb you up 73 times. Its like modeling the JCM 900 instead of the 800. Bewildering almost XTC Powerball JMP 2203 Rockerverb Dumble Though, id rather have 10 accurate emulations than 30 so so. The plexis in the helix for example...... UAD version sounds more authentic. Much more.
erniedenov
Two great amps that I used to have and sold them like an idiot (still kicking myself): Mesa/Boogie Mark IIc Bogner Ecstasy A Diezel would be nice too!

HonestOpinion
I am still hoping for that small but magnificently warm, musical, and almost vocal like quality of Brian May's Deacy amp. satch4u4
I second Dirty Shirley or Dirty Shirley Mini and BE-100. Some Friedman love would be amazing! :)
bshaw92
At a minimum it would be nice to just have pre amp and power amp adjust ability (different options to mix and match and edit parameters) that would open up the opportunity to approximate the other amps that never get added and/or amp combinations that you create on your own. It would be better to have all of the amps, but at least with having those variables available many could get a lot of flexibility.
roscoe5
I really would like some rack tube preamps and tube power amps modeled. Those could give us some versatility and other uses too like using physical pres with helix rack power amps live/studio. Posted these a while back, but would still like to have em. http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Helix-models-Rack-Tube-Preamps/821072-23508 http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Helix-models-Rack-Power-amps/821070-23508

TheDaveDaveDave
Guys - aim HIGH! Amps like Trainwreck and Dumbles are truly unique, and not just Bassman permutations..... why not get a model of something that you can't even *buy* at *all* instead of these awesome but quite available amps that come up so often? Trainwreck FTW! I'd happily settle for a Komet or a Ceriatone model though... I've never heard or played a real Trainwreck, but I have played a Komet for 2 minutes at full till, and there's nothing else like it. For those who don't know, start here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trainwreck_Circuits
